@phane said in Sixaxis dies after a few minutes, takes BT with it, requires reboot to reconnect:

What rate should I change (there are three in the file based on some if statements I don't understand) and what would be a good setting to reduce it to?

Change the 921600 value and halve it to 460800 (then 230400, 115200 etc.).

      hey guys,

jumping in here as well. just bought a Madcatz FightStick Tournament edition PS3 which is running fine on my mac. It's recognized as gamepad in ES but does not give the option to be configured, pressing any button does not do anything.

Is it still required to install mentioned additional libs or are they included in the default image?

btw. I am using rp4, 4 GB RetroPi Version 4.7.1.

      Thanks!

@ethan8r Do you really want to play Retropie games on a tablet through the USB port? Think how bad the lag would be. In order for you to use the tablet as monitor consider these:

Most USB ports on tablets are for charging the battery. They do not take in information from other source other than through WIFI. Those that do, the video information from RPI has to be translated to USB data either through hardware/software hackery wizardry. Then you will need an application on the tablet to properly re-translate the information back to video. These translations would no doubt introduce delays and lags in game playing time.

@BuZz OMG. Thanks, BuZz. It worked.. I guess this was some information that I either overlooked or just didn't come across. You just saved me from a great deal of stress.

Thank you so much, BuZz... You are awesome. :)

I FTP into the pi then take out all the ROMs and saves whenever I have to reimage for whatever reason, which is more common then it should be. If you have to reimage it because of your pesky ferrets, I would do that first. There are plenty of great guides just a google away.

By the way, I'm using v0.37b5 ROMs on a v4.1 build of RetroPie (for RPi 1) in the mame-libretro folder in order to address an "insert coin" issue I was having with the select button on my XBox 360 wireless controller. The solution posted here...

      ...is what corrected my problem.
