@nylinmatt is this for all games or a specific one? One setting comes to mind though. Go into core options->input-> center joystick for digital controls -> disabled.
@testfly If you have a 'pre-configured' disk with games, you're probably running a 3rd party image of RetroPie, which are not supported here. As for your question, you could start here for some inspiration. It really depends on what you want to play on the cab.
@brown7 Thanks for your reply. I have since tested Argos ā¬60 steering wheel and pedal combo and these are recognized by the system. It is a 180 degree wheel and works perfectly on N64 Ridge Racer etc. However when I tried to configure some other of the buttons I seem to have lost the original configuration and am having difficulty matching the pedal signals to the Go and Stop coordinates. This might take another bit of head scratching to correct but at least it was right starting off. Might need to configure more games to use the same signals though the wired Nacon multi system generic stick controllers Iām using for other games seem to use the same controls for most racing games...
Hello, I would like to ask you a question, if you are so kind to help me, I have a Logitech driving force pro steering wheel, is it valid for Raspberry PI ?, I can't get it to work as it needs the Debian drivers in Linux to recognize the route of the strap. Are there such drivers? If so, where can I get them? Thank you.
I know this is quite old but maybe someone can point me in the right direction. I am trying to set this up again using a new pi 3 and RetroPie 4.5.1. I get the same thing, emulationstation doesn't see the controller but it looks fine running the jstest program. What can I do to allow the controller to be used in RetroPie.
