      @mitu Thank you and I'm sorry for not following what was clearly written down. In the future I will make sure I list all that is needed. In this case I figured out the solution but do appreciate the beginnings of the sites help.

      Thanks - Aaron

      Hello and welcome to this forum.

      Alas, you won't find much support for a third-party RetroPie installation here, because we can't know how much its makers changed the official installation image. On top of that, RetroPie's licence and the licences of many of its components don't allow commercial use, including selling it as part of a commercial product. The people who sold it to you broke those licences.

      So, you'll have to either ask the vendor about the problems with their product, or install the official image from https://retropie.org.uk/download/. In the latter case, you should make a backup of your old system and its games as described here – or just use another SD card.

      We'll be happy to help you with any problems you may have with the official image. As a side effect, you may learn a bit or two about the inner workings of the wonderful retrogaming box of bricks that RetroPie is. 👍

      Be sure to read https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first to get more useful information to start in this forum.

      @dankcushions and @mitu I deleted my roms, and uploaded them using a USB drive creating a retropie directory, and everything is working now. I'm not sure what the difference between using SFTP and the USB drive is, but it's working now. Thank you for your help, and have a great day!

      Praise the sun, omfg this finally solved my issue. I've been slaving away at this thing for nearly half a day now trying to figure out why the controller suddenly stopped working only in PCSX and only in the game itself. Had to make an account just to say this.

      Ugh.. This thread should be immortalized in a polished block of marble. "Disable the Multitap BS..."

      @theissdev I should also mention that this was really my only issue in moving from the Pi 3B+ to the Pi4. Everything else was super simple. Ledspicer required a manual reinstall on the Pi4 simply due to being a bin exe, but that was really it. Most of the old -> new stuff (artwork, custom theme, etc.) all ported over w/ 0 issues. Def. worth the wait. Thanks guys!

      @danield420 well the black screen could be a bad rom or possibly a missing bios file. Sure there are other factors for the balck screen i'm still learning myself. This RetroPie Github page has helped me so much https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Supported-Systems .

      Or make another topic and i'm sure someone can help you solve the problem if you didn't already on your own.

      I know it's been a few days but finally found some time again.

      I'm looking at my /opt/retropie/configs/snes/retroarch.cfg

      input_player1_b = "shift" input_player1_b_btn = "nul" input_player1_b_axis = "nul" input_player1_y = "ctrl" input_player1_y_btn = "nul" input_player1_y_axis = "nul" input_player1_select = "5" input_player1_select_btn = "nul" input_player1_select_axis = "nul" input_player1_start = "1" input_player1_start_btn = "nul" input_player1_start_axis = "nul" input_player1_up = "up" input_player1_up_btn = "nul" input_player1_up_axis = "nul" input_player1_down = "down" input_player1_down_btn = "nul" input_player1_down_axis = "nul" input_player1_left = "left" input_player1_left_btn = "nul" input_player1_left_axis = "nul" input_player1_right = "right" input_player1_right_btn = "nul" input_player1_right_axis = "nul" input_player1_a = "z" input_player1_a_btn = "nul" input_player1_a_axis = "nul" input_player1_x = "alt" input_player1_x_btn = "nul" input_player1_x_axis = "nul" input_player1_l = "space" input_player1_l_btn = "nul" input_player1_l_axis = "nul" input_player1_r = "x" input_player1_r_btn = "nul" input_player1_r_axis = "nul"

      This is what's exactly in the file for the button mapping for P1 and when I go into Super Street Fighter alpha 2 it doesn't work. Made a rom specific cfg too and still doesnt work. Now here's the super weird part ... tried Star Fox 2 and controls seemed to work fine. Tried Super Star Wars and same problem as SFA2.

      Edit: Also how do I go about reinstalling an emulator?

      @Norstein We don't support 3rd party images and links to ROMs/BIOS/copyrighted material is not allowed.
      Install the image from retropie.org.uk/download and configure your overlays there.

      @schmiddyman said in 2 joystick cabinet configuration issues:

      gpio=13,11,15,19,10,8,-1,16,18,-1,-1 gpio2=31,29,33,35,24,-1,-1,26,-1,32,36,-1,-1

      From a cursory view.
      Unless you used the hotkey-btn branch your provided list for gpio2 is too long.
      In your gpio parameters you provide 16 Pins/Buttons but initially you mention 15 buttons?!

      However, good to see you found a different solution.

      @timbone316 You probably have save_on_exit in RetroArch. Try to open the RGUI (Select + X) while ingame and disable this.
      To revert to the Mame2003 default retroarch.cfg file, re-install the package from the RetroPie-setup script.

      @nevsan said in How do I find out and change the Retroarch Hotkeys for each system?:

      Hotkey for enabling RETROARCH when in a game.

      there is no such hotkey. there's only one hotkey - it's set during https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/First-Installation#configure-controllers - it's the last one to be set. typically you'd set it to the 'select' button on your controller.

      then, you access various hotkey combos by holding your hotkey and pressing some other button. eg: https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/First-Installation#hotkeys

      if you configure it this way, the same combo will work in every libretro (lr-) emulator.

      @ryanh1323 no retroarch settings only work in libretrocores. All emulators that start with lr- are libretrocores. If you had two libretro emulators like lr-fceumm and lr-nestopia for nes then all settings in the retroarch.cfg for nes would work on both. However core settings are different and only work on that core
