@meleu That's okay! I've had a few issues specific to the DS4. I guess I'll just roll back to my last SD save.

I tried all other recommendations noted here before doing this, but worked like a charm. I was getting stuck at 82% "SystemScreenSaver.cpp.oc++: internal compiler error".

@gametravaler try removing the USB stick and reboot and see if it works. I had a issue recently where a folder went corrupt on the stick and was causing the issue. Retropie told me in the command line what directory was giving me issues, removed it and all is well.

I can't no longer run roms off the usb storage either since doing a clean install of retropie 4.2. Nothing works. Even using this guys hack [link text]

Emulation station was updated which broke a lot of things even my controllers were messed up I was able to fix them but the last two days made me want to trash my PI and just stay with playing games on my PC.

The only workaround was I had to get a bigger SD card and run the roms off of there, nothing else worked.

@mismu2000 there is an issue with retroarch version you are using. Update retropie setup and then reinstall retroarch from binary.

@pjft Thanks, it looks like nothing important was missing. After further investigation I found so far the only other thing that was installed was Zmap, and from what I read it scans the network traffic. All kinds of personal data could have been captured. I don't think it was running long enough to do any real damage.

@kraken0667 AH ok, I'm not sure. I don't use non-libretro emulators. Mame2000 should be listed as "installed" and that one shouldn't need any alteration.

Another quick question, I can mount ext drives on my Mac, so I can edit files on the main retropie partition, with this in mind, is there anyway I can manually replace / edit scraped data?

Some of the games I have scraped have the incorrect pictures or can't find data at all, so I would like to manually create / edit some of them.

Is this possible, and if so, where are the files?

I created a save folder into the rom dir, if I want to delete save games I just do it on my Windows machine via the network. It's not the best solution but it does the job.

ok, I returned my SD card and i am starting all over. i googled it and now i am wondering if my microSD is not compatible.

it is: lexar 16gb high-performance 300x microSDHC UHS-I (uhs-1?)

says it is a class 10. LSDMI16GBB1NL300A

but it says it is an SDXC and mine is an SDHC. i cant find the exact product code on the list but there a couple of close ones and i would rather just return this one now than muck this one up too.
