Is there anyone you could chip in with this? I've bought the screen and zero pi 2w and would like to get it working if possible?

Installation:

copy to sd-card

Themes can be copied to either /etc/emulationstation/themes and /home/pi/.emulationstation/themes, they're read by Emulationstation from both locations.

copy via network: Windows: Open \\retropie\configs\all\emulationstation\themes\ in the Windows File Explorer Linux: smb://retropie.local/configs/all/emulationstation/themes

IMPORTANT: I recommend EmulationStation's VRAM setting at (min.) 120Mb (Rpi4).
(Main Menu > Other Settings > VRAM Limit)

For most of them you'll want to set aspect_ratio_index = "21" and input_overlay_opacity = "0.350000" and input_overlay_scale = 1.060000 or thereabouts in your CFG file.

@mitu Initial design was done in a few hours. Then a few days of test prints and some small changes here and there to fix issues I had overlooked in the design. Most of the time was spent getting the screen to work right since I had never done any python coding before.

This is the last update (I felt I could get the icons even closer to the style of ruckage's originals, and believe that I have). Here are ALL of the assets I've adjusted for the ruckage/es-theme-snesn-mini theme for RetroPie. This includes backgrounds, labels and icons for the auto-random list that goes with all the different configurations of this theme that are available by editing config.xml that comes with the theme. Love your work. It is an awesome theme. Also, Will you be making it able to play the game video too in your future build? Thank for all your hard work.

@Renetrox I understand. There was a theme I was wanting ported, but it may be a bit too complex. It's a wii lookalike theme, with the same grid capabilities as the original. Mouse probably won't work on a grid system select theme for the cursor, but I would love to have it as close to the original as possible. But yet again, that's probably a little out of my scope to even get remotely working. Great work altogether on these!

@SigmaX what OS are you running in the Pi3 ?
