I just finished Operencia: The Stolen Sun yesterday after playing it for approx. 2-3 months.
It's a "modern homage to classic first-person dungeon-crawlers" like Dungeon Master, Eye of the Beholder, or the late Legend of Grimlock, but with a turn-based combat system that's more reminiscent of titles like the original Bard's Tale trilogy.
Surprisingly, this is the first RPG of the hungarian development studio Zen Studios. They're mostly known for their Pinball simulation games. Nonetheless, they've created a breathtakingly beautiful, entertaining game whose more or less typical story is based on the hungarian folklore, which I was absolutely unfamiliar with, making it a refreshingly unique experience for a western european like me.
The Windows version of Operencia is on GOG sale right now with 60% off of both its versions (same game with or without goodies).
Thanks for the fabulous ride, Zen Studios!
