For anyone reading with the same problem, the monitor works now with the new active adapter that comes with its own power supply

There's a virtual keyboard on my end when using Netplay, no physical keyboard needed.

I guess first try updating to the latest Retropie version along with Retroarch as well.

@natesroom So i figured it out, I needed to update the RetroPie Setup Script or whatever that name was in the screen first then run the install option packages.

In the Documentation that should be noted (unless it is and i just missed it)

The display_rotate options are not supported on a Pi4 model. You have other options to achieve the rotation - see this topic.

For display flipping, I think this may be supported by emulators natively, but you have to go into game's service mode and enable it (i.e. simulating the machines service DIP switches).

Not likely, the version used in Batocera is further modified than the RetroPie's fork and it's not a matter of configuration.

Or recommend to developers of retropie/emulation station to add this function?

If that's in your budget it looks like it will be more than up to the task with an STR of almost 1900.

@stoltzy Something related to your WM maybe or a bug in SDL which doesn't correctly set up fullscreen. What WM/DE are you using ?

Combined with --resolution WxH, you can use --windowed to start ES as 'full screen', just to avoid this issue.
