      Thank you for your reply. That's my standard setting, everything from the Retroarch at the settings. Maybe a re-install can sort it out?

      Wanted to say THANKS for the "menu_enable_widgets" fix and to share some more info.

      First, it was interesting that ROMs were fine and that ATR disks were all failing.

      I tracked down the segmentation violation in the /dev/shm/run command.log:

      /opt/retropie/supplementary/runcommand/runcommand.sh: line 1283: 31257 Segmentation fault /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/retroarch -L /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-atari800/atari800_libretro.so --config /opt/retropie/configs/atari800/retroarch.cfg "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/atari800/Mule.atr" --verbose --appendconfig /dev/shm/retroarch.cfg

      I took a look at line 1283:

      eval $COMMAND </dev/tty &>>"$LOG"

      All this is doing is running the right command, explicitly getting input from the tty, and tying file descriptors to the log.

      I ran the command from the console and it worked fine without redirecting STDIN/STDERR. It also worked fine just redirecting STDOUT (fd 1). But every time I redirected STDERR (fd 2), I got a segmentation violation.

      Not sure what exactly the widgets have to do with this, but apparently they do. If anybody wants a strace of this I would be happy to provide.

      I hope this is helpful, and again, thanks for the fix!

      @mitu Thank you so much! Indeed, it was precisely in the full path to the CDROM folder.

      As a result, the command looks like this:

      [autoexec] MOUNT c /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/pc-games c: cd Rayman MOUNT d /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/pc-games/Rayman/cdrom -t cdrom RAYMAN.EXE EXIT

      @8Ataco For N64 not all games run good.
      As for DreamCast try:
      over_voltage=3
      arm_freq=1750
      core_freq=600
      v3d_freq=750

      You must just edit the conig.txt file. So take out the SD card, insert in a Mac card reader or slot and edit the file in any txt editor.
      You must place this above mentioned lines under the line with the text:
      "#uncomment to overcloak the Arm. 700Mhz is default"

      If you have a spare USB stick, put a bootable Linux system like Ubuntu on it, boot your PC from the stick, and transfer the files using its so-called "live system".

      See https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/create-a-usb-stick-on-windows for instructions how to create the bootable stick in Windows, and https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/try-ubuntu-before-you-install how to boot your PC into its live system.

      Background: The live Linux should be able to write to your Windows partitions out of the box, whereas Windows can't read the Linux file system on your RetroPie card without third party software.

      As always, be sure to backup any important data on your PC drive(s) before doing something with your PC that you never did before! Although Ubuntu's live image is known to be safe for many years, accidents or user mistakes can always happen.

      @challenger2010 said in No sound at all in Mortal Kombat 2/3/Ultimate:

      I remember long ago that with Midway games in Mame, you had to go into the service menu of the game and turn the volume up.

      This is right as the default volume is quit low on these machines.
      But in the end you should hear something (very quit...but no silence at all), and the author mentoined that he allready used the volume control in the service menu ("F2").

      Just to mention it: AdvanceMame has this great feature "auto level volume" which prevents me from running to the volume control on my setup as i dont have a remote control for my 2.1 logitech-soundsystem :)

      @cmdcolin Select is mapped by default to 'Coin Insert' in arcade emulators. Without it, you wouldn't be able to start a game.

      @ToddThomas said in RetroPie/EmuStation/RetroArch not Keeping IPAC4 Config:

      Let me take one step back and ask you this. On a fresh install of Retropie, if all I have hooked up is the IPac4, should EmulationStation prompt me that there is no controller/gampad recognized (like the F310)? Or should it move on to the heart of the program?

      On a fresh install, it always ask to configure controlls (even with a recognized controller). IMHO that it ain't reporting something like "keyboard detected, press any key to configure it as input" and just states that no controller was detected is a bit arguable, nevertheless on first start that is the expected behaviour.
      But afterwards, if the keyboard was setup as a controller, the dialog shouldn't appear anymore - and besides /opt/.../all/retroarch.cfg I have no idea what other configs could be responsible and /core/rom override retroarch.cfgs should have no effect on ES.
      Could you log into your system via ssh and look at the output from lsusb to see if the IPac is listed as a recognized Device if that Requester Pops up again after the initial setup?

      Nostalgia Pure (lite)

      HUGE Thank you to the original creator(s) of this theme!

      Changelog (by myself)

      added 'All Games' added 'Ports' added 'RetroPie'
      (there is also a second one called retropie2.png, if you prefer one without Rpi)

      MIRROR(s):
      https://www.mirrored.to/files/8OMYTQG0/nostalgia-pure-lite.zip_links
      https://www.mediafire.com/file/1up9v1x4rpstily/nostalgia-pure-lite.zip/file

      Installation:

      copy to sd-card

      Themes can be copied to either /etc/emulationstation/themes and /home/pi/.emulationstation/themes, they're read by Emulationstation from both locations.

      copy via network: Windows: Open \\retropie\configs\all\emulationstation\themes\ in the Windows File Explorer Linux: smb://retropie.local/configs/all/emulationstation/themes

      IMPORTANT: I recommend EmulationStation's VRAM setting at (min.) 120Mb (Rpi4).
      (Main Menu > Other Settings > VRAM Limit)

      Best regards,
      Anti-You
