@Drakaen391 Yes, I am aware that scripts can launch scripts and do quite often. The idea of a single line bash script just to execute a python script is pretty silly though.

The matter is closed though. The devs aren't interested in the idea which is their right.

Or we can just wait until 2.4.32 arrives. Perhaps in one month?

Hardware problem. Apparently audio_pwm_mode=2 fixes it but i haven't tried it yet.

the sad reality is I feel the box art, cartridge art, and instructions manuals are just as important as the games themselves, even though I never seem to view those items. sort of a completionist view I guess

@hiulit the libretro core of current mame is already available in retropie in the experimental menu - "lr-mame"

I use GameEx on my arcade PC. It works just like what you're looking for and has plenty of options for artwork. However with the video snaps, box art, titles, marquees, control panel, etc etc etc, they're all storage and memory hogs. I love it on my cab, I don't think i'd do it on my pi if it was available. That's just me though.

I got it compiled on my Ubuntu desktop with a small header modification, but performance was actually worse than the official Dolphin PPA

@DatsunPatrol I think it's doable, but actually it would be more a "total time running the emulator with this ROM". A suggestion I can give you (only in the sense of making your request more visible to emulationstation hackers) is: change your topic title to something like "[emulationstation feature request] Game Usage Tracking".

Thanks, @paradadf That looks quite good (and it saves a lot of work). If I understood it correctly, the Universal XML Scraper would generate a unique file mixing both images.

That would be a nice solution and I guess that's the one I'll use (although I'm still interested in seeing if it's possible to have two separate images, mainly because you can have them in separate views of the theme).

I shall try the Intellivision emulator like you suggested. Im a big fan of Retropie😊and still hope that there will be a way to add the Aquarius at a later date.

Thanks though, I'll give the kid mode rom roulette a try later and see if it's functional. Does anyone know if we CAN bring this feature to the normal ES mode with a script or something?

yeah tried that a few days ago. It was still looking at the old path for some extra files (digital audio if i remember). I presumed the defaults are each set as full paths , instead of relative paths of the data folder.
Its also possible i did something wrong so ill try again tomorrow

And what about a simple keyimport. Just import KEY and SSID from /boot/wlankey.txt to /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf? That's just a simple grep command :)
But somebody has to put this small script tool to the standard image file :) and make it somehow executable via joypad :)

Sadly, Toby Fox did not release the source code in any way so I can not make the game lighter on the resources and make shaders compatible with OpenGLES. :(

I thought about doing that. But I thought it would need a powered one. All Pis prefer a hub?
