I had this same issue (2 years later!) with the latest Pi Baker, but after unzipping the (retropie) image manually first, everything worked fine.

@mitu Hi ! Thanks, indeed you are right, I used lr-pcsx_rearmed, the default one, and so I read and followed the documentation you sent to me and I solved my problem.
    Thanks for your help !

OK time for feedback. I have succeed to download videos and boxart only, but without game description. How did I do (please, remember that I am on Ubuntu) :

download the latest Stephen's scraper program here : https://github.com/sselph/scraper/releases and put the scraper file into the wii (or the related console) directory list item have your own videos into a folder named for example videos download boxarts on libretro project : http://thumbnailpacks.libretro.com/ and put them into a folder named for example boxart make sure that iso names are EXACTLY the same as boxart and videos names use Krenamer or any other batch rename program to rename :
-boxarts : add -imagesuffix before .png extension
-videos : add -videosuffix before .mp4 extension put all boxart and video files into the same folder named images (very important) then open a terminal and go to the rom directory cd /RetroPie/roms/wii/ and put the following command : ./scraper -add_not_found=true -download_videos=false -img_format=png -download_images=false. For your information :
-add_not_found=truemeans it adds roms that are not found as an empty gamelist entry
-download_videos=falsemeans it checks the local videos only
-img_format=pngmeans it checks the png files (because default check is jpg)
-download_images=falsemeans it checks the local images only

That did it. Thank you. Problem solved.

Removed everything named "ULES01372". Still got my save games.
(Did not work via SSH, becaus I was in a wrong folder. My fault.)

@wiggy808 said in [SOLVED] - Final Burn Alpha (lr-fbalpha) not playing rom sound samples file:

Is there a clrmame or other program that can check the samples files to let me know they are incorrect / incompatible?

The list of needed wav files is included in the dats i provide at https://github.com/libretro/fbalpha/tree/master/dats . Clrmamepro should be able to tell you if you have all needed wav files if you setup "Sample-Paths" in Settings, then check "Samples" in the scanner, it'll only check filenames though, not crc.

Hello and welcome to this forum. Please provide us with the information requested here: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

In addition, which guide did you follow exactly?

Which folders do you have on the stick?

In principle, you only have to put your snes roms into a subfolder snes in the folder roms and Retropie should recognize them. But it depends on what you did exactly and if everthing is in order.

Here's an addendum to my previous message. Today I got my Raspberry Pi and when using the latest version of RetroPi for the Raspberry then save settings in vice works fine.

@mitu I used the handy update all packages command which defaults to binary when available. So, I'm assuming that it updated lr-mGBA from binary as usual.

The current lr-mGBA version I am using is listed as 0.6.1

@polygaryd - Glad you got it sorted. It sounds like you'll be using ClrMamePro from here on out. :)

@barbudreadmon - Everyone misses their mark occasionally out here, welcome to the internet! ;) I've read many of @edmaul69 posts over the months and his hits completely outweigh his misses. Nobody's perfect, even with a perfect manual we'll explore outside the bounds. I've appreciated his help more than once reading different posts.

Unfortunately we alI read and sometimes share incorrect information, it happens. I guess sloth is not something that comes to mind. Anyway regardless Polygaryd was inspired enough and found his solution, and the correct one I might add, so it wasn't a total loss after all. :)

@mitu I think it's from the limited specs of the Pi Zero. I was actually really surprised that both CD based systems even worked on a Pi Zero in the first place. Somebody told me that they tried CHD files for both emulators on a Pi Zero and the Sega CD didn't perform well. Essentially a CHD File is a modified 7zip archive, so I'm not really surprised. I will eventually test it myself and update this thread when I know.

    @dankcushions Here's my pastebin:

    https://pastebin.com/NR8ixXeM

If anybody sees anything interesting in there please let me know. I can't figure anything out in this file sadly.

I don't know if it's of any interest but I plugged in my USB pendrive, ran RetroPie, hit F4 to exit EmuStation, ran the command dmesg > /tmp/dmesg.txt, ran emulationstation, played a PSX game which froze pretty much instantly, exited the game, took the file via WinSCP and there it is.

Just deleting the ps3 drivers was enough to stop the notice and let me exit the menu without disconnecting the dualshock4. Thanks so much!
