@sonicsheppard also, if you want the sensitivity in the analogs to work better get something with a longer analog joystick. You can get a flightstick or use something like the mad catz xbox 360 gamestick:

@sammyboy you shouldnt use runcommand for dosbox. Dosbox has its own video settings in the dosbox config file. Also follow the retropie dosbox wiki to learn how to create seperate .sh files for each game.

@red2blue i use a 13 port usb 2.0 with a 2.5 amp power supply running 11 devices on my pi, so 7 ports with 3 amps is as good as you get, as long as the power supply saying 3 amps isnt a lying pile of junk.

@sonicsheppard You can remove the noexec flag by editing /etc/usbmount/usbmount.conf and removing the noexec parameter. Save and reboot.

well just tried it on a psp. It was way better there. it just small. I missed some jumps but I think cuz im very rusty maybe. Had to use 1.1 so it wouldn't tare.
That's based on the x9 emulator so im guessing my tv is so crappy.

@rosskii yes no issues with as many players as you want. Player position is based on the usb port order even on a usb hub.

@gtr63 Maybe you set SNES up first to test before setting up the whole USB mounting thing. It's easy to forget what exactly you did when first setting up, especially if you are not experienced with RetroPie or Linux.

Can somegive tell me which PINs to use from the original SNES Reset button, so I can solder 2 wires and connect one to GPIO17 and the other one to GND of the Raspberry?
I don't know which one is which one and am unsure if the picture is correct or not.

Saving to home/pi/RetroPie/save works only if I create the directory myself. So you were right saying it saves to the default directory if the folder doesn't already exist.
But even if I create the save directory in snes/roms/ for example, it won't save there. So I guess this can't be set to a relative path? I'll have to create all the folders, and edit all the cfg files myself?

I also have others problems, should I create new posts for each problem? I feel like I'm going to spam the forums if I do. Of course I tried to find solutions but couldn't find any (gamelist.xml won't update after modifying from windows, master system lr-picodrive flickering problem vs lr-genesis-plus-gx working perfect but no crop overscan?)

@chipsnblip I used this fan + case bundle, which has nothing special except it's low prize.
And about the hdmi mode, and basically everything else in the config file, I doubt it is related in any way to the problem because right now it is exactly as it was when the problem was fixed. Anyway, if you need an image, I post it wjen I have one.
