@rspeaker dosbox runs great on the pi. Now as far as spear of destiny goes, on dosbox i have all 5 games running. I never tried to get the other 4 running on wolf4sdl. Spear of destiny games:

@retropieiscool you asked about backups. I'm just trying to help you back up. And where to restore a backup. If you have all your files backed up, just reformat the sd card, reimage retropie and restore your backup.

@ecks 500mA is when G3s controller is in Bluetooth (battery) mode. When plugged in, the unit recharges itself and it takes 1A to 2A to recharge which would under power the RPi . The USB ports on the RPi will not be able to handle that much current and eventually damage it if you prolong its use.

In the latest version of retropie you can set up a specific button as "enable hotkey" button. So you could set a different button for the controller that you are using. Did this for my Genesis controller too.
Other approach would be to set the enable hotkey in the config files only for this emulator to a different button.

still doesnt work. thats how its looking and the ps3 controller is the only option i can choose whether he keyboard dongle is plugged in or not

Sorry I couldn't reply sooner, I only just woke up.

Glad you got it sorted, if you haven't set everything up it's often easier just to re-flash the sd as you have.
Once you do get everything setup how you want it's a good idea to make a backup img of the SD card, that way if something major goes wrong in the future you just have to re-flash the card and you're up and running again.

Reporting Progress Update...
Got the hard drive working and the skin changes in place. My buttons don't work yet, but the LED does. I just need to get the button scripts installed (POWER and RESET). I will say this.. I think I know what caused the corruption. The PiStation build I'm doing has a microSD card ribbon cable, to make access the the SD card external. When I screwed the top down on my case, I crushed one of the wires in the ribbon between the screws. During all of my re-building today, I kept it simple without using that cable. Everything now works right. I tried hooking up the cable again, and sure enough, I get filesystem read/write errors on my screen. So I've ordered a replacement. Cheap enough, but coming from Taiwan so it might take a couple weeks. The other thing I noticed... since the POWER and RESET buttons aren't working yet, I've had the power going straight into the Pi. I've had ZERO undervoltage warnings flash up on my screen. BUT, once I put the Mausberry circuit into the mix, all of a sudden those lightning bolts started showing up. So I don't know if I have a faulty circuit, of it maybe the circuit isn't capable of supporting the volts/amps. I need to try and get in touch with them and see if they can recommend a solution.

As an aside, but related question.. Does the "Powerblock" people use work in a similar fashion? Detecting a button push then sending a signal to the Pi to shut down, then cutting out the power? If so, maybe it can handle the power?

@rridenour I was wondering if you were able to fix this? There is alot of interest in the DolphinBar Wiimote setup these days and the jitter is annoying at best. I'd love to hear any config file tweaks you made.
