triggerhappy runs as a service when your system starts. Unless you've disabled it, it should read the configuration file and do the actions configured.

@Asmodeus04 I'm going to drop this for now. unless you you are using a CRT, the 120 hertz mode is not worth messing with. It's too choppy.

You will run into issues later on with this approach. You need to match the specific ROM set version to the arcade emulator you want to use. This is detailed in depth in the docs.

There's nothing in RetroPie that enabled or disbables writing on the scard. SD card turning read-only is sometimes a sign of a damaged card.

@theissdev I haven't noticed any instabilities but I randomly play a game once in a while. Lakka on the other hand, is too unstable for me.

@ferhound Dreamcast is in great shape on the pi 4. Between redream and flycast almost all games run extremely well (minus WinCE games).

@mth75 Hi. I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I really like your Plus 4 case idea. I'd love to know more about how you did it and what's running in it. I had been wanting to build another RetroPie unit (I have 3...a Sears Intellivision, an Intellivision Flashback, and a RetroFlag Megacase) but one with a bulit in keyboard. The plus 4 is perfect. Was going to use an old C64, but felt it wasn't as good. Do you have a write-up or any specs on how it all came together, including the keyboard interface you'd be willing to share? Thanks!

@buzz is it possible to add the option in the retropie-setup script when installing any emulator to create also a script in the ports or emulators folder that runs directly the emulator it self ???
instead to work only by running a rom/game.
And create an extra menu in Emulationstation called stand-alone Emulators for example
for advanced users like me,i think is good to exist an option like this in Retropie.

@barbudreadmon I don't have an issue with flycast. I was testing an issue for another forum member, so I wanted to downgrade to their version. But yes, I will certainly report any defects I come across.
