I can't use update ,the image I am using is not a retropie image but a attraction mode image,so If I update it will remove all the attraction mode stuff.

hmm.. the games start without editing! is that how it should be?

i just copied the BIOS-files to the correct BIOS (in Rpi) and started playing..

all good now though having found the precompiled binary in retropie package script (mcobit suggestion @ discourse.osmc.tv) cheers.

@dankcushions Was rather lookin' for some "solved" button? Really, this forum engine is far too confusing for old people. "Terminated" problem? You know what I mean? Does it even makes sense, hahaha? I liked the old forums' engines.

@Lyle_JP the first time this issue was reported (2016-01-09) we realized that RetroArch recently changed the default menu driver to xmb when executing on a Raspberry Pi.

This issue was solved in RetroPie, but since an updating doesn't overwrite the current all/retroarch.cfg, and just creates an retroarch.cfg.rp-dist, I think we'll get some more confused users coming here with this issue after an upgrade soon.

Fortunately you started a topic with a very descriptive title and I hope they use the search engine to get the solution (menu_driver = "rgui").

I don't think it's a problem from RetroPie, it's just that when upgrading packages, it's from the latest from Raspbian, so an update probably broke something, when earlier it worked correctly.

update: Steven Selph's Scraper worked great- don't understand why it is not default.

What problem did you have ? Did you try going to the help / support section and click "New topic" at the top?

Hi Buzz,

I clicked on 'new topic', put in a title and typed out my problem. Help/Support was selected in the drop down box to the right. When I clicked submit it said i needed to create a tag. No matter what tag I created I always got the message along the lines of 'tag does not exist' which also prevented me from submitting my post.

I'm curious what systems you have been able to get working? I tried coleco but I can't get anything to start.

One last question if I may. Any idea how to get vectrex overlays to display?
