Glad you got it fixed. You can try now to apply the overclock back, though I'd recommend you give it a try without it and see how the system performs. The Pi4 should be powerful enough for most systems.

To anyone having the same problem:

Copy your installed lr-fbneo to a new location (through terminal):
sudo cp -p -r -f "/opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-fbneo" "/opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-fbneo10"

Edit \\RETROPIE\configs\fba\emulators.cfg
and add to the top of the file:
lr-fbneo10 = "/opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/retroarch -L /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-fbneo10/fbneo_libretro.so --config /opt/retropie/configs/fba/retroarch.cfg %ROM%"
and change your default emulator for Final Burn Alpha in EmulationStation to lr-fbneo10

I think the default gpu_freq is set to 500 (Pi4), I assume is the same for Pi 400.

@mitu thanks for the advice, I just tested and it doesn't matter what the directory is named, you just have to launch the .svn file from within the game data folder. Which is different to the launch behaviour lr-scummvm had before but at least it runs.

For me, I'll probably just make an .sh file with /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-scummvm/romdir-launcher.sh and run the games from the launcher so it clutters the emulationstation menu up a bit less. Thanks anyway though!

I tried this first and it didn't seem to work with pin 4. I told it run at 70 degrees and it was running at 36 degrees... I know pin 4 is a 5v pin which is why I chose it. If I use any of the 3.3v pins the fan will run more slowly

Aha, I get it now.

My primary monitor is running at 720p. So the second display has to run at that aspect ratio as well. So since my second display is 1280x390, I need to scale up my image height by 1.85 for them to look right.

When I did that, it looks good. It doesn’t fill up the entire display, I’m not sure why. But at least it looks much better.

Now I just need to automate the whole thing somehow.

@paulr Yeah it's a tough one to navigate. I have the same situation going on and have found nothing so far to help me resolve the issue. Have you found anything?
