or could the last half-displayed line of text be cut off or covered (as appears to be the case for Grid View, judging by your screenshot)?

    Thank you for detailed feedback.

Unfortunately OMX video override theme image. if you enable OMX playback, video would be on top always. that i can't help I just change video size as you said. you are right it's better looking You can hide thumbnail tag by editing theme.xml file- about line 209
wrap with "<!--" and " -->" list and bottom buttons are just fine with me but I edited it just in case. I know currently grid view does not work on Pi4.
Performance is not guaranteed, but it will work in the development version of ES - you may need to change VRAM LIMIT high enough.

@djmoss Using some light google-fu, I managed to find this one:

Although it doesn't have the game characters in it. There's a download link in the comments somewhere, so maybe it can hold you over until you find the actual one you want.

You did a wonderful thing, an invention if I could say so. Your idea of reusing an old laptop would not have even crossed my mind. Now that I've seen this, I'm thinking about how many things I could have reused, and I'd like to try something similar. How many days did it take you to conceive and put everything together? By the way, I saw on the website https://www.frameshop.com.au/acrylic-prints some accessories that would help you, and some frames would fit well with your digital images. You can do a small business out of it.

@solecize oh yeah I remember those days. The original restoration/conversation of my BerZerk cabinet was done in late 2000, just when Ultimarc and all the I-Pacs were coming out. I remember I was going to do the keyboard hack, but bought one of the first versions of the I-Pac. My first spinner was a trackball and HD bearing hack that worked pretty good. That cabinet saw a few refreshes, one being the upgrading of the control panel, then the computer which was done multiple times. Lol.

I basically love the hobby and I really enjoy seeing guys restore the old cabinets. With all the great graphics available out there we don't have to make our own stencils any more. Lol. It was fun and challenging, but I'm happy to just buy the stuff now and save on the time.

Good luck with the restoration, I'm still finishing Gorf and BerZerk will once again be refreshed. I'm trying to source the original metal control panel, or if I have to, I'll make one myself.

If you need any help, let me know. Having just done it, it's all still fresh on my mind.

I get the following error in the installation menu and then it kicks me to the command prompt.

    1. RCLONE x 1a. Test for RCLONE binary [ NOT FOUND ] x 1b. Download RCLONE binary [ FAILED ]

Is this setup script too outdated now?

I finally figured out cloud sharing on my Windows computer and also Android devices today through RetroArch. :)

Would very much love to get that rolling as well in Retropie.

For reference, I did follow the initial instructions found here like suggested:

I had the same problem. I checked the contents of the pi and the overlays were downloaded OK and were in the right place. And the individual game config files were also correct. But the MAME bezels were not displaying automatically (I use the MAME 2003 core). When playing a game I would have to go to the overlay option in the settings menu and switch overlays to ON. The correct overlay would then be displayed. It was a real pain manually switching on the overlays in every game.

So I created a core level config file called MAME 2003 (0.78).cfg containing the line

    overlays = 1

    I placed this in the directory /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch/config/MAME 2003 (0.78)/

This made all the arcade bezels appear

However after all this, the bezels were no use to me! The bezel config files do not have any settings for the game video screen size. So in horizontal games the game screen is smaller than the bezel expects. And in vertical games the game screen is bigger than expected, so the bezel truncates what you can see making the game impossible to play. Other arcade bezel packs have config files that specify the game screen size and these ensure that the game perfectly fits inside the bezel for a really good effect. But these bezel packs have to be manually downloaded and manually installed on your pi.

    Hello all,
sorry to be reviving an old post, but I find myself in the same situation 3 years later and I cant seem to find a solution that keeps up with the changes through time.
I have a Raspberry pi B+ and are running Retropie v.4.7.
I have been able to use a DS3 controller since I setup my raspberry pi with a bluetooth dongle, which I had paired on my laptop initially with the SCPtoolkit. So that was plug and play at the time and didnt even realise this was a complicated matter.
A few weeks ago I decided to get another controller and dongle to do the same for player 2, which obviously did not work.

    I have :
tried to pair them separately and together,
tried the ps3 controller drivers with both original and clone options
    tried the sixaxis option aswell.
My results where mixed, but the botom line is that the best I could get was to have one controller through the bluetooth dongle and one on a USB.

*Should also mention that they both work on my laptop with a single bluetooth dongle, setup with SCPtoolkit.

I can see that you have suggested 1 option that I would like to try, but have failed to do so on my own, either because of my inexperience or because the instructions are outdated.I need to check if by disabling the wifi it allows both of them to connect and if it does to setup your script in the menu so that I can toggle it.

    When I press f4 and type wget http://raw.githubusercontent.com/crcerror/RetroPie-Shares/master/rfkill_wifi_dialog.sh -O "/home/pi/RetroPie/retropiemenu/Wifi Switch.sh"
It says the directory or file does not exist. Now I can see the actual link of the .sh file on github is different that what is suggested, but I did try to replace it with no success.
I also tried to change the location file to "/home/pi/RetroPie/configs/Wifi Switch.sh" hoping that by placing it there might still work but it doesnt.
Lastly I feel that there must be something that I am missing sicne there are no other solutions out there available but also not many others discussing it, which makes me wonder has this been solved in a simple matter and I am just blind?!

Thank you for your time and sorry for the long post, I hope you can help me.

After giving up with every option I decided to try and type that all over again, seems it was a mistype...:S
Anyway I can confirm this works for 2 ps ds3 controllers!!! Now I am off to show off my skills on CTR to my partner!!!

    Thank you for your support!!!

@813_alex That stick, like any arcade one with microswitches is quite noisy (but I like that). Also the stick itself (spring ?) makes noise when moving it. On the other hand that's a real 4-way ;-)
