@ther3dhood Power supply inadequate? Plug USB hub into other usb port?, on a pi zero, one is power only so this is the order as you look at it...

HDMI MicroUSB MicroUSB(power only) - use the middle one. Cheap hubs don't work, search the threads on here for best options.

@Rion After unpairing/pairing a few times it appears to be fixed. Thank you! One interesting thing to note, there was another registered BT device that I couldn't remove for some reason. After unpairing and pairing the controller a few times and rebooting the device it was finally gone. I'm guessing that was causing the issue as it's disappearance from the registered devices coincides with the controller working fine.

@mattrixk Have you tried the tilde key?

@XAGMNINETY I'm glad too see that you finally solved. Can you say what's the emulator? maybe the info can help somebody else.

I use bsnes for snes and i don't have that problem.

Are you talking about two different iOS devices here? -since you said your iPad isn't jailbroken in your initial post? And I thought Happy Chick only runs on jailbroken devices... That GitHub I linked to shows which file needs to be changed to switch the key mapping...since my phone isn't jailbroken I have no access to the file system to edit that config file....so I may be out of luck.

It looks like you are referring to retroarch.cfg based controller configs (to generate those I'd let ES do it, not the manual way it looks like you have.)

Also, you can see here that the emulator you are using wont use those config files:

I encountered exactly same problem with you but I can't get this 8bitdo zero tool because official homepage has renewed. Do you still have the tool? If you don't mind, May I ask you to upload that tool on mirror?

Bought the limited edition controller last night. Can't wait to hook it up to my apple iie pi.

This is still an issue. I use wired mayflash arcade sticks and when used in conjunction with an 8Bitdo controller the emulators always randomly exit. The ps3 bluetooth driver package was never installed. I use 4 of these arcade sticks and unplugging all of them every time i want to play a game with a pad is not an optimal solution.

(decent budget sticks btw, they accept sanwa parts and are like $54 on amazon)

I am not aware of crashes because of CEC, but I know that some joysticks, in rare cases can make Kodi crash. Try running Kodi without any controllers attached and if the problem remains, post you Kodi log.
