I actually do already have the Dreamcast version loaded in my Pi , I just wanted to try the Naomi version due to I have never played the arcade version and sometimes there are little things here and there they may have changed or become different

Just something about the Arcade version games I enjoy better , possibly because the infinite amount of credits by coins possible , or the service menus to change the lives , difficulty and such .. I don't know for sure ... Call me weird I guess

Maby this version on Flycast is a bit wonky and needs more configuration within the core itself by the developers

i managed to set it from "Slave" to "Master " and it didnt work still .... however i then tried it again but switched it to "Off"

it worked .... nice to try this game ... i have been wanting to try this game

i tested the game and it works ...

however one RED Flag i have a concern over

at the start menu ...

i put in the coins

it brings me to a start screen ( im unable to press start but it quickly start game (which is strange)

then it brings like these modes of play and i have no control over it and it only selects Boss mode ... which is strange again it doesnt allow me to select

i tested the boss mode its great and very entertaining ....

but i do want to see the other modes and select them , but unable to ... do you know why that is ?

(don't think its the controls because all controls work great and function like they should , no drift or anything )

Edited : ohhhh i see now the boss mode is the main gameplay ...

i thought there were different modes as in like a beat em up game mode or ect .... i understand now ... no reason to answer anymore ...

It was nice to get the Dolphen bar wiimote to work on the game

Unfortunately I think the game may not be complete or fully compatible on the Pi 4 Flycast

I have tried a few different sites to get this title

I get kick out of the game on the first level with these jumping ninjas

Tried many attempts times but can not get past the first level

Such a fun experience this game is .... sad I can't fully play it on the Pi 4 without the crash

Or if someone has a recommendation or tips please don't hesitate to inform

Working as a charm. Found out same solution after searching a few hours ^^

@andykt76 great tutorial thank you for doing this. I followed your steps for the PS1 lightgun setup and now I’m stuck on the guncon calibration screen in time crisis. I can’t seem to get it to move past this step, any suggestions or did I take misstep?

@mitu I did a lot of reading around in those docs, but since I didn't require a user/pass for access I didn't know how much of that I should cut out of the line so I browsed forums until I found an example of someone doing what I was trying to.

Duly noted, though. Just another thing added to all the stuff I've learned about this stuff in the last couple months. After fixing that, Daphne works as well for me. I knew it was going to be some little minute detail. Thanks again, you're a lifesaver.

No, the chd are only required for games that were on optical media, in this case the zip file only contains some stuff to decrypt the chd and sometimes a default eeprom.
