      @Heartless
      While the libreelec ppsspp version says it is updated to 1.8.0, it seems much the same as the 1.5.4 version we have. With all the same rendering issues and performance, I think most of the updates do not apply to the opengl renderer that we have.
      There was the addition of only one new main setting, and the removal of two settings. Skip Frames by percentage of FPS or Numer of Frames. I can't say if it works or not, it seems to just skip frames the same way. The removal of the two hack settings, timer and stencil test.

      It is probably up to the PPSSPP developers, who know enough about the emulator to update it for us. Though this may never happen.

      the BIOS file seem to be automatically added by the install script anyway - you don't have to do anything: https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/blob/master/scriptmodules/libretrocores/lr-ppsspp.sh#L61

      @nibio74, whoever that is, made the change here. I'll revert it, having no means to contact them :/

      It will likely require reworking of the RetroPie module script. It's still on my to-do list :-)

      @herb_fargus I've pretty much tackled it as far as I'm willing to at the moment. I'd certainly revisit it later after a Pi 4 were released or if I felt the need to get a Pi 3B+.

      Anyway, I've linked it properly on the wiki now. Hopefully someone finds what I've documented useful. Know I would've loved to just have a quick list of 51 games I could run on my overclocked Pi 3B.

      Decided to just go with the Google Sheets method. It is smarter.

      Solved. Had to access emulator settings for the one second the game was booting and disable "Fast Memory (Unstable)". Boots fine now.

      @glitchyboyhunter I didn't give you any 'codes', just pointed you to the file where Emulationstation might log any errors.
      You just need to get the file from the Pi - you use a PC if you have one connected. You need to open the \\retropie\configs\all\emulationstation folder in Windows Explorer and you'll file the file I pointed out earlier in that folder. Upload the contents to pastebin.com and get the link here in the forum so we can better log at the log.

      EDIT: Make sure that Emulationstation is not configured with Parse Gamelists only set to On (https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/FAQ#why-does-shut-down-and-reboot-take-ages), otherwise any new game/rom added will not be shown. If you do, then turn it off, then restart Emulationstation.
