      @Rabidtrout actually @dudleydes already said to do this earlier in the thread. :)

      Please open a new issue for an unrelated problem so it's easier for people to find when searching etc.

      Please post the contents of your emu.cfg file.

      Should be located in either:

      @darkmenace i'm afraid you can't adjust it without pulling the repository, changing the code and recompiling. not that you'd want to - it delays it but the sound gets way out of sync. it's arguably worse than the distortion.

      Let's stick to the other thread for anything else: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/2612/mortal-kombat-2-3-umk3-audio

      For example... you don't mention what USB controller board you are using.

      I am using 2 x Sanwa JLF joysticks via an Ultimarc IPAC2. But I'm not going to explain at length what you need to do if you're not even using the same board :P

      @mrbwa1 Okay, thank you so much, I have a small $400 Micro-ATX PC plan, so I'll build that, then I'll install Ubuntu and Retropie. If it works out, I'll post it somewhere on the forum. Thanks.

      I have my doubts about being able to use it with wine, but if you really want to play it with your friends on your TV you can install Moonlight to stream it from your PC if you have a NVIDIA GPU

      @herb_fargus Understood. We've all been there, but most of us work thru it with help from our friends. :-)

      Everything is on the Wikipage or YouTube. To be honest I had to change only 5 things into the config to run RetroPie as I wanted.

      We do not offer support for 3rd party modifications/distributions of RetroPie (As has been pointed out, RetroPie should not be included with commercial products, nor do we know the modifications that have taken place).

      You will need to get support from the person/company who sold it to you - or alternatively download an official version of RetroPie from this site, and put it on an sdcard, and we will be able to try and help.

      You also need to provide more details as mentioned - which may be clearer once you have installed RetroPie from the install instructions here which explain a lot of the system to you.

      @Rikochet see https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/issues/1798

      you can add the product id / vendor id manually (assuming they both have different product ids) to the controller config in /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch/autoconfig (so you have two copies of it each with the difference ids).

      You will however also need to manually set the controls up. Right now when controls have the same name we don't do this automatically. TBH the manufacturers should bother to give them unique names etc, but the cheap stuff often has missing device/vendor info etc.

      example

      # Hex vid:pid is found using "dmesg -w" or "tail -f /var/log/syslog" and converted to Decimal using http://www.binaryhexconverter.com/hex-to-decimal-converter # Hex vid:pid = 2810:0009 -> Decimal vid:pid = 10256:9 input_vendor_id = 10256 input_product_id = 9

      Note when posting please also read https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first first and provide the information as requested so I know your set-up.

      Ignore that - I misunderstood (And the PS3 controller does work ok in Ubuntu 16.04 unlike I said above - I just had to configure it by holding the playstation button it seemed).

      You mean it's fine in ES and games, just no good in the retropie-setup menu ?

      It works - it's just it doesn't use the same mapping. Left analog moves, and select will choose an option. This will be resolved at some point in the future, but the menus were never originally designed for navigating via joypad - it was added later via joystick to keyboard mapping. Since it;s mostly configuration and you are on a PC, it's not a big deal to use a keyboard to configure if you don't like the ps3 mapping.
