    @Romstar An update on this the game is working / Marbles are rolling as it should!!! FIXED that with physically swapping the GreenX1 & Yellow X2 respectively for both players on the Ultimarc Opti-Pac. However the Opti-Pac Designed from ultimarc doesn't work with their software so I can't reflash the inputs that aren't being utilized. On the bottom of the Opti-Pac is "Left" & "Right" buttons / or rather left click right click on a mouse... which is fine, but NO INPUTS for Coin ! This is how I have it wired in case any one else is using the same setup:

    5v - RED
    Ground - BLACK

    Blue trackball even though considered player one on the left (*Intentionally goes to the P2 side of the Opti-PAC)

    P2 X1 - Yellow
    P2 X2 - Green
    P2 Y1 - Blue
    P2 Y2 - Purple

    Red trackball (*Intentionally goes to the P1 side of the Opti-PAC)

    P1 X1 - Yellow
    P1 X2 - Green
    P1 Y1 - Blue
    P1 Y2 - Purple

    Left P1 - Player 1 Start
    Right P2 - Player 2 Start

    (*also to note the original Marble Madness control panel the notches in the trackball face the bend / curve towards the front of the player, where as the flat end underneath on the trackballs face going away / the monitor.)

    Still no way to hook up 5 "coin" as of now ... In theory I can daisy chain it to a start button but that would be on FREE-Play which I don't want. So CLOSE to getting this the way I need it to be!

    Well I got it to work, but I just need a way to save the setting on restart. I went into RetroarchGUI Settings-Input-User 2 Binds and changed User 2 Device Index from disabled to Microsoft X-Box 360 pad. This makes my two player games work, but will not stick and changes back to disabled on exit. Is there something I can change in a config file?

    How do I do this in advmame ? I'm confused as to where to input this text:

    marble/input_map[p1_trackballx] mouse[1,x] -mouse[1,y]
    marble/input_map[p1_trackbally] mouse[1,x] mouse[1,y]
    marble/input_map[p2_trackballx] mouse[0,x] -mouse[0,y]
    marble/input_map[p2_trackbally] mouse[0,x] mouse[0,y]

    "advmame.rc" where is this file so I can locate and modify it using notepad++ and WinSCP ?!

    @luizsaluti Probably yes, but I would imagine that the actual release would be better installed from a Pi image instead. Things might change till then, but feel free to try out the branch on the Pi4.

    This is indeed part of a safe shutdown circuit.
    This pin needs to be HIGH while the raspberry pi is on and not change its state before shutdown process completes, because it drives the mosfet that provides power to the pi.

If you haven't installed the official image, you should do so. (But don't forget to backup any data that you don't want to lose before that!)

    Furthermore, if you bought Retropie, it's illegal and you were cheated by the seller, because the Retropie license forbids selling of any kind.

    Sorry to put it that bluntly, but it is like it is. If you're already using the official image, just ignore this post. 😌

    great thanx. so the 2 player must be the start button on the second controller.
    perfect. so i have configured the buttons. but if i hit it, i cant play. so there must be an Option to set the which button is the 2 player mode button

    Has anyone figured out how to use LEDspicer with MAME to automate which buttons are used per ROM? I have LEDspicer running but can not for the life of me figure this out.

    @Jimi007 Yeah the zero is too slow for Amiga, it also struggled with 32X.

    I found that out the hard way after setting up a "MicroMiggy" using one and only realised at the end that its too slow.

    Never mind, I didn't realize when I saved the python script it saved additional embedded formatting. I just had to download a straight text editor and it is working fine. Thank you.
