@daeks Sorry, I misunderstood and wasn't aware that was how you were using it. I have never managed it like this, hence why I didn't see it as an issue. I always have access to the shares and this is how I manage the Pi or I drop into a prompt or SSH to the device.

@M0nKeY Better than using a static address though for me, but I agree it's not ideal - I will sort this out eventually - I just have little time for doing the website on top of everything else. Cheers!

Thanks so much. Updating the firmware got me sorted. It's showing the proper amount of memory now... It's just not booting into emulationstation. Just drops to console... working on that now.

EDIT: It was the memory split. Reverted and now everything boots up again. Back to the beginning; installing emulationstation-kids.

@markyh444 First, let me apologize if I came off as needy or rude. I was having trouble locating the information I wanted, or had trouble understanding it I guess would be a better way of putting it.

Secondly, I would like to thank you for all of your advice and assistance. I think I finally figured out what I am doing. Turns out I understand things when I see it on my Windows desktop and just needed to edit information there instead of trying to do it on the Retropie (not sure if that makes sense).

Lastly, I want to say that I FINALLY got the buttons mapped how I wanted them in N64 and this also gives me information on how to do it in other emulators should I choose to do so.

@BuZz Switched to UAE4ARM and now the gamepads work without any problems! Thank you! Spent some time trying to figure this out and messing with xboxdrv... :-) :-). Now it just works.
