      @RSquaredPi Hi, the ControlBlock supports up to 7 A. If you do not have any additional accessories connected you should be good to go.

      Sounds as if something is going very wrong. Can you post a picture of your hardware setup here?

      @dbinott I think it's best that you post your own thread. You might have a different setup than @hodgoes2001

      @vman41 Sounds as if you need to update your driver. Please follow the installation instructions from https://blog.petrockblock.com/2017/06/30/tutorial-powerblock-raspbian/.

      @ortsac
      Damn, I don't want to strip the wires to my SNES controllers or take apart my console to make a panel.

      I'll be using an HD CRT TV. It'd be if a more straightforward adapter was invented. But oh well.

      Thanks for the help.

      Is there a typo? It should be g++-4.9and not g++4.9.

      To find out if the RPi GPIOs are working correctly, you can use the script as described at https://github.com/petrockblog/ControlBlockService2#checking-the-raw-gpio-of-the-raspberry. It could either be a wiring issue or an issue with the ControlBlock. I suggest to run through the script and see if the GPIOs are all working correctly.

      Thanks to all for providing more insights into this issue. I hope that we have a better understanding of it now and can use the driver as it is now :-)

      Great thanks for good feedback, and I really liked the video there @Shakz.

      I actually got out and bought a better power supply and got rid of the yellow lightning bolt after I read your answers, however I couldn't find one that hosted a USB port rather than a fixed cable with a Micro USB-interface. I have now done a quick-and-dirty attachment of it to the PiNES but I'll try to find a better solution to be able to connect the power via a USB B cable since that will be better for transportation and general look overall.

      However thanks again, I feel the subject is closed and I'll just have to find the proper gadget to handle it. :)

      All the best,

      /Hravnkel

      @petrockblog You might want to add a bit more explanatory wording to the Control Block installation page. It might be intuitive to most, but I missed it, too, initially.
