I have not heard of either. I got in late last night, read you post and immediately set to watching the Ahoy video. They really did their research on that one. It was very well done and even reminded me somewhat of the various documentaries I've seen on the Zodiac Killer mystery. I plan on saving the 'Dimension 404' for this evening, but it looks great too. @roll_sk Great work! One thing I'd have done differently is the position of the speakers. I would've put the speakers to the other two sides of the cab, so that the players could hear stereo sound. However, if stereo isn't a priority, there's nothing wrong with the speakers facing the players.

@mediamogul Actually a really good idea. You can also buy "dead" OEM controllers, or third party controllers from eBay for the parts and mix and match until it is good. I did that with my Logitech PS2 controller. Except for the L3 button it works excellently now.

@retroprogrammer Don't give up, the best advice i can give is to never try to learn all in one time. Instead, focus on little things (like you did with the splash screen) and you will be gathering knowledge. Find an art style that you like and have fun doing it.

Since you like pixel art, you can give a try to Derek's pixel art tutorial, it's pretty much the style that you make on your splash screen.

Many shaders include options to alter the effects they produce, including brightening the picture. Have you tried investigating that? Details for crt-pi on what you can change and the easiest way to make those changes.

You might would consider upgrading to a bigger sized micro sd card. 8 gb is usually the minimum as the OS will require a good part of the available free size of the micro sd card to be be installed.

I would say an 8 gb or even better a 16 gb micro sd card should be sufficient.
