    seeed is on my (long) list of recommended PCB shops. DFRobot is another... for small orders they are mostly pretty competitive with each other, just depends what fab features you need as some extras are more expensive than others. for instance, OSHPark is definitely one of the more expensive places, but they include ENIG finish in that price, which pushes the price up massively at PCBWay. it's definitely all horses for courses and worth shopping around

    Not a bug. Due to RPI sdl2 backend. We have sdl2 environment vars to change scaling etc.

    @matchaman I use overlays. Reasonable CRT effect, not as teaching on the CPU.

    The poll has had 80 responses so I thought I'd sort them for all to see. You'll notice ones like Megadrive/Genesis have both their combined total and their individual totals. I think this is good info to have.

    Unsurprisingly, SNES, NES, PSX and Megadrive/Genesis are at the top of the list.

    Here are the results so far:

    SNES/Super Famicom - 81
    Megadrive/Genesis - 80
    NES/Famicom - 70
    SNES - Super Nintendo Entertainment System - 66

    Edit: I just realised SNES/Super Famicom has 81 points, even though there have only been 80 entries. I guess a few someones out there have their SNES and Super Famicom Roms separate.

    @im5150 KODI has 2 sets of files /home/pi/.kodi/ and /usr/share/kodi/If you are looking to change your skin it should be in /home/pi/.kodi/addons/skin.yourskin Notice it says dotkodi in the first and third file path. These are hidden. You need to show hidden files to see these in a desktop environment.

    @EctoOne
    After me and a friend finish Wildlands, my friend is going to get Andromeda so I'll probably be coming over to his house to check it out.

    because the DLC descriptions didn't seem that interesting to me. Maybe I'll get them some day when they are on sale.

    That's usually what I do with most games. I'm actually still waiting for a good price for the Fallout 3 DLCs before I pick those up.

    Here's a post with some tips on how to eek the best performance out of your Pi Zero.

    Here's a post with my and some other peoples experiences with emulation on the Zero.

    FYI, many people say to overclock. I've tried literally DOZENS of overclock settings (some extremely mundane), on multiple Zero's - and every single one makes the Zero freeze after around 20 minutes or so (sometimes way sooner, sometimes a little longer), so I wouldn't recommend overclocking.

    @mercifulhacker said in Popular Tweaks/Tips:

    I know @meleu posted a neat list of what he does after a fresh install.

    That topic was from @Floob : https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3902/what-tweaks-do-you-make-to-your-retropie-setup

    but I couldn't find it

    I've just typed "tweaks" on the forum's search engine and the second entry was what you are looking for (the first was your topic here). ;-)

    The emulator itself supports both raw and .cas images.
    I do not believe the scraper supports adding these images, so you would have to create a playlist manually.

    The emulators.cfg can be modified to include the following commands:
    -tape <filename> Attach cassette image (CAS format or raw file)
    -boottape <filename> Attach cassette image and boot it
    -tape-readonly Set the attached cassette image as read-only

    I'd imagine it could work with this content in emulators.cfg:
    atari800="echo %ROM: -\ % > /dev/null;/opt/retropie/emulators/atari800/bin/atari800 -config /opt/retropie/configs/atari800/atari800.cfg -boottape %ROM%"
    default = "atari800"

    Please note that i have not tried this myself.
