@guest-001 The original poster had problems when starting runcommand.sh from /etc/rc.local, for which the solution was to change the /dev/tty to /dev/tty1.
There is no reported problem when using runcommand.sh normally, from ES, so I was wondering if you had a similar script set-up - especially since you were talking about noticing an error when a SSH connection was made before ES starts.
I don't know what might trigger your problems, but if you can reliably reproduce it from a RetroPie image, then share the steps necessary to get the error and we can try and see where the problem occurs.

@mitu Thank you, that was correct, es_log.txt showed me where the issues were and so I could target the rescrape better.

I'm not big on the DS but in theory it would depend on how the saved game data is stored. Some systems store the game as a data file and others store game details as a config type file. Depending on if the hamster sees its shadow you will know if the compatibility index needs three more weeks of adjusting. There is an alternative however if you can get the loop bolt tight enough on the nutella . I skip that as I hate the taste of that stuff ...and...and... okay, ya got me I have no idea on this one.

Solved. I updated the controller to the newest firmware. Now it works great. :)

(bc it didnt work before)

There are 2 caveats during the upgrade

The xpad driver is overwritten when you select 'Update OS packages' and should be re-installed after the update. See https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Xbox-360-Controller/#xpad-driver. The auto-login is broken - because of Raspbian upgrades for the systemd. This should be taken care by the procedure you performed (i.e. enabling auto-login in Raspi-Config).

For the other errors, or why you're not stuck with that message, I don't know.

Nope, since i didn't expect anything good from the capcom emulator (and i was right considering there was 4 frames of input lag at the release), i bought the game only because there was a limited edition with an artbook in my land, and it was console only. Since i don't have the steam version, i can't extract the rom, so i can't try to implement it in fba.

@almulder Collections are automatically generated, so there's no similar sorting option.

Hey hey, maybe, I have found the solution: In the MAIN MENU / SOUND SETTINGS / AUDIO CARD, I selected <DEFAULT> because the entry was null <>. Just below, in the AUDIO DEVICE, I selected <PCM>.

With this config, the error message disapeared. My config is: sound via a HDMI/VGA convertor, jack to mini-amplificator (RCA).

@chuskie yep it may be an OS incompatibility. Usually on Windows and retropie the directory format may differ and the build fails to load the images. Tried to check Kodi error log? If not try looking in these directories for the LOG file:

@amishgamer Yeah, I forgot to use Clone Spy for automatic removal. Found out about that two days ago. Also, there are a few more differently named duplicates that I'm slowly removing for a full release.

I'm currently working on my ideal ROM set of USA>World/Europe>Japan, but I suppose I can fix up those batch files in the meantime.
