@edmaul69 I also remember some titles expect you to type the number of the FDD where you have the disk inserted. Back in the day, I had two floppy drives which made multi-disk access so much easier (think PrintShop Companion, or Newsroom).

Unfortunately, setting xboxdrv up in this way is a good bit more involved than just copying a few files. The documentation page is written to cover each and every little step, but it does require that you begin with a certain understanding of how to access and edit files remotely, as well as remotely execute commands. Even afterwards, you'll likely stumble around a fair amount before you have a working understanding of the whole thing.

If this hasn't scared you away yet, then my advice to you would be to not worry about the process as a whole and only concern yourself with the first few steps. If that works out for you, keep moving forward until you need help. Whenever you do need help, just come back here and I'll be happy to answer any questions that you might have.

aah sorry. I forgot we symlink the config folder to keep configs together. Kodi configs on RetroPie are stored in /opt/retropie/configs/ports/kodi

@chip From the command line change directory into BIOS by cd RetroPie/BIOS then type md5sum name_of_file.extor if it is in your ROMs folder cd RetroPie/roms/pcengine

@meleu I use emulated arm chroot with qemu on x86_64 pc with ubuntu, but also cross compiler on the host via distcc. (I don't have time to do any write up but there are some on the net).

@Danorak1981 First off don't use NOOBS. If you are going to install KODI on a separate card you should use a lightweight JEOS (Just enough operating system) for it. The most popular / supported are OSMC and Librelec.

Maybe go with Librelec as OSMC has a lot of customisations peculiar to itself.

I've not used a wireless controller with KODI, so can't advise but I would always advise people to have a USB keyboard for the PI as it always comes in handy.

The best smartphone app for controlling KODI is the official KORE app, another is YATSE but it is a bit bloated these days. Also bear in mind I stopped using a phone app for KODI as it eats battery life like crazy as it works over the wireless network and is constantly broadcasting a WiFi signal. You should get a mini keyboard like the Rii i8+, I have one for each of my KODI Pis.
