For information, I formatted my root partition with F2FS more than a year ago, and never had a corruption since.
The main drawback is that it's more difficult to resize ATM than ext4 or xfs.

@timothyjbrick That's because ES uses SDL to talk to the joystick. See https://github.com/meleu/jstest-sdl for testing using the SDL library, it's similar to jstest, but through the SDL joystick mapping.

nope, sorry: the link mentions using the tag <thumbnail> but it doesnt work.
Use the usual <image>, and it does the trick!!!

The input configuration for Mupen64Plus is kept separate - this is documented at https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Nintendo-64/. Look for the sample configurations, there is one even for the N64 usb controller.

Yes, as far as performance is involved. You'll not get a considerable boost from running an x64 system.
Experiment with the games you'd like to run and see how well they run, but even on more powerful machines N64 emulation is not perfect, so don't expect miracles here.

Along with the information requested there, what part of the Netplay documentation seems outdated?

@skepticalgeel CHD or compressed hunks of data (or compressed hard disk depending on who you are talking to) started with MAME..sorta speak...

If you have the mame package from the website there you have the tools to compress them. You might want to use a GUI program to make it easier. QMC2 has one.

You will need to compress each bin/iso individually. That is one iso (bin/cue..ect..) one chd file. They are much smaller even smaller than a psx .bpb format and no cue/bin or cue/iso ect needed.

Had to use a image of a previous backup i made since i couldn't find out where the problem is.

The most i got was that it was something in the configs folder, don't know what.

@mitu I am playing Street Fighter III : 3rd Strike(fb alpha)this ROM does not have a chd but I was trying another rom that used a chd and after I deleted some chd's the ROM got from glitchy to a black background.

What he said. I'm on an iPac too, and the mapping done in EmulationStations GUI also maps Player 1 (and the /home/pi/.emulationstation/es_input.cfg).

Afterwards, just add the needed lines in the /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg for Player 2. Make sure to use a real Text Editor like TextWrangler or something, notepad won't do.
