@theissdev I should also mention that this was really my only issue in moving from the Pi 3B+ to the Pi4. Everything else was super simple. Ledspicer required a manual reinstall on the Pi4 simply due to being a bin exe, but that was really it. Most of the old -> new stuff (artwork, custom theme, etc.) all ported over w/ 0 issues. Def. worth the wait. Thanks guys!

Heads up, PCSX2 1.6 is now out with a LOT of stuff fixed. Not sure how current the Linux build is, but I've been REALLY happy with the improvements to the Windows version. Many games that had severe rendering issues are now playable.

I solved this in the end by downloading the neokobe collection (all 90gb for the SECOND TIME) and making CHD's with an old version of Chdman.

Nostre, how are you launching thegames? I have a 'proper' chd with the disk name 'Galaxy Force II" and then one dummy chd with the name of the entry in fmtowns_cd.xml - something like gforce2. All games will launch from the dummy chd. Now i've successfully rebuilt mess i'm not sure the check sums need to match.

    So far i've found:

Galaxy force and Genocide, pu-ra-li-ra panic bomber man and Afterburner 3 are both extremely playable with decent sound

4d sports, Chase HQ, Turbo Outrun and Flashback play but with compromised sound.

Its a shame Unz is closed source.

@RunsOnRum No, but you can create your autostart script to start Kodi first, then start EmulationStation - 2 lines instead of one.

@Ecks said in Help on overclocking the Pi 4B:

For that second method do i need to do that "sudo apt update" for RetroPie still or i am good also if i was to do the "arm_freq=1750" would i need to increase the overvolt to use "gpu_freq=600"?

There are no standard overclock settings. A setting that works on one pi may or may not work on another. As a general rule though, if you are increasing the clock speed of a component then you will most likely need to over volt it as well. However, you'll need to perform tests yourself, nobody will be able to tell you what overclock settings will work on your pi.

Update the RetroPie-Setup script and then update your redream package.

The wireless Xbox dongle are not supported by default, since there's no driver. There is a recent project that aims to add support for it - you should check out https://github.com/medusalix/xow.

@Spieronig Our server delivered multiple emails to your hotmail account - I checked the logs. I assume due to you requesting additional confirmation emails. Maybe contact Hotmail.

A bit of an accusatory and grouchy post. This is not a service you are being charged for.

@sebastian Since i actually have all the time right now i actually take my SD card format it and install the newer RetroPie because there has been moments when i would just update it and get issues with certain emulators and certain games so when i have the time and there is a new version i would actually install not update to that new version and then slap all the games i own onto it which i am surprised with the Pi 4B i am able to play Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder smoothly and not have choppy audio.

So I've managed to find the issue. it seems the ps3controller driver was causing the issues.

I only used it as I couldn't get sixaxis to find my controller. Looks like I need to try and get this working.
