    @lostless Could you make "Atomiswave, Dreamcast, and LightGuns"?
    Love your work. It is an awesome theme. Also, Will you be making it able to play the game video too in your future build? Thank for all your hard work.

    @Renetrox I understand. There was a theme I was wanting ported, but it may be a bit too complex. It's a wii lookalike theme, with the same grid capabilities as the original. Mouse probably won't work on a grid system select theme for the cursor, but I would love to have it as close to the original as possible. But yet again, that's probably a little out of my scope to even get remotely working. Great work altogether on these!

    @retznutz I'm very interested in this! I have likewise wanted to make a cabinet version of intellivision controls. I thought about something like the stream deck (video buttons).

    I was thinking of larger controls that fit the hands rather than the thumbs; one hand for the disc (3.5" disc?) and one hand for the buttons. How about the 5" screen, vertical, with the overlay 150% larger (four fingers across)? I had in mind the side buttons could be real buttons.

    Staying tuned on this!

    @Ranma

    You're welcome, I'm glad you're finding it useful.

    I got a lot of requests for a Zero 1 image of my setup, and while I exclusively use my Zero 2W in my Pi Case, it seemed interesting (i.e., difficult) just from an embedded systems design standpoint so I decided to give it a go.

    It was a challenging project but worth the results I was able to attain at the end: Neo Geo Pocket Color, of all things, was the most difficult system to get working full speed on the Zero 1's anemic hardware.

    @mitu Sorry for the delay, I didn't receive an e-mail notification about your reply or maybe I miss it....

    PR is submitted to update the documentation.

    Have you verified that the dumps are correct and they match the redump.org site checksums ?

    I have just checked checksums for several games and they are correct:

    Medal Of Honor (Single-Disc)

    Redump : SHA-1 - 99f46eec7a8abe548b376f3c920353ab1f642de2 Generated .bin file:$ sha1sum "${HOME}/RetroPie/roms/psx/Medal of Honor.bin" 99f46eec7a8abe548b376f3c920353ab1f642de2 /home/mylogin/RetroPie/roms/psx/Medal of Honor.bin

    Metal Gear Solid (Multi-Disc)

    Disc 1

    Redump : SHA-1 - 3daa7fbdf69e232e76b593951950c34be930b299 Generated .bin file:$ sha1sum "${HOME}/RetroPie/roms/psx/Metal Gear Solid (Disc 1).bin" 3daa7fbdf69e232e76b593951950c34be930b299 /home/mylogin/RetroPie/roms/psx/Metal Gear Solid (Disc 1).bin

    Disc 2

    Redump : SHA-1 - 578bef4fb45a4c20a7dd5f6645b474a5180aae04 Generated .bin file:$ sha1sum "${HOME}/RetroPie/roms/psx/Metal Gear Solid (Disc 2).bin" 578bef4fb45a4c20a7dd5f6645b474a5180aae04 /home/mylogin/RetroPie/roms/psx/Metal Gear Solid (Disc 2).bin

    Which CD unit are you using to dump the discs ?

    I'm not sure so I'm not going to say anything wrong... The script is mainly a wrapper around cdrdao and toc2cue utilities so I let the cdrdao utility do the job to generate the .bin files.

    I see other scripts on the Internet but they were buggy or not enough user-friendly as mine. To rip a disc, I just want to :

    Insert the disc Start the script given the name of the game and eventually, its number of discs Restart EmulationStation and have fun

    How are you, friend, I congratulate you, it is an excellent and elegant job, I am writing to you if you can help me with the measurements and the model of the rear part as it is, or if it is too much to ask, could you share the plans of your great machine with me?

    Hello all,

    @meleu

    I am on retropie 4.8 and a pi 4.

    Can I get some guidance on getting the subject working?

    The package is talked about here on the retropie docs:

    https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Runcommand/

    "Manage packages" >> "Manage experimental packages" >> "launchingimages" >> "Install from binary"

    For whatever reason, the images created from this package are not filling up the whole screen even though the retropie menus and all game emulators do. It's like the package is not creating the proper size images and I really don't have a good idea how to fix it. Below is an example of what my run command screen looks like. Thank you all for any guidance you can give on fixing this.

    @Golden-Shellback

    Hello. In regards to the light gun games you have on your Rpi4... Are the arcade games listed the arcade versions? Like Terminator 2 or Time Crisis? Or are the port versions?

    @mitu for sure

    Hello @johnodon, good morning, how are you? Dear, please ask a question regarding the installation:

    I have a small problem with my installation.
    I use the Ubuntu server, running on a notebook with a processor:
    Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2350M CPU at 2.30 GHz
    After following the step-by-step configuration, I have detected this error when booting the system:

    "Last login: Monday, December 4 03:37:51 2023
    There is no such key “default-show-menubar”
    There is no such key “default-show-menubar”

    My version of Ubuntu is

    Description: Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS
    Release: 22.04
    Codename: jammy
    I emphasize that when the system starts, the control image appears in the shape of a cupcake, then the error appears.
    What can this be?
    thanks

    @MeduZaPaT Will I be able to use the PPA that is listed on the wiki deployment page? It seems like it is from 2020 so I'm concerned it is out of date.

    I am using the pi4 with retropie. When I install, do I just need to go about it manually (build)? Was using the PPA even an option for me?

    I apologize for such basic questions. Linux has a lot of unknowns to me.
