Ok, I've updated script and had success to install mame2013-plus.

Sorry really new to this, Its not a fix to the scripts just a add on for people to run to test their SD and USB read speeds. It looks like that is not the spot for me to submit the script. and what about Icon.png and adding in info to gamelist.xml?

I view this very differently I dont think the open projects will be effected.

Its the private closed ones that where the cash is for github. Imagine all the information ms can get from these private repos for sales and advertising and peek at code ect.

The company doesnt have a vey good past with anti competitive behavior it. The commercial end of github is where they will make the cash from. That is how github makes a profit before ms took it over as well it not all free when you go private

It will likely require reworking of the RetroPie module script. It's still on my to-do list :-)

@rion Signed it today, thanks for the announcement. You should mention that this is a campaign of the Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) and the OpenForum Europe (OFE) as those are well known and respected organisations. People can learn this on the website, but some might not follow a link to a site of an unknown operator. Just a hint to improve your venture. :)

@mitu I got in touch with Steven Selph who wrote it. I think he's on top of things now. I got everything to work on my end, but it seems like the module still might need some work.

Unfortunately, it's useless as there's no ability to save which is the reason I hadn't submitted my version of this months ago. I was waiting for libretro to fix it.

Is it really gitbhub.com or is it a typo? The correct should be github. Are you sure your pi is connected to the internet? That classical ping on google.com should be enough to ensure you're connected. ;-)

I figured out the issues, but apparently it is JUST a launcher, when I exit via alt+f4 the dolphin gui shows up and asks for verification, then retro arch appears, so it's actually worse as far as going keyboard free. Oh well, was worth a shot :)
