Heads up, PCSX2 1.6 is now out with a LOT of stuff fixed. Not sure how current the Linux build is, but I've been REALLY happy with the improvements to the Windows version. Many games that had severe rendering issues are now playable.

I set up my own Retropie and customized the hell out of my image by reading a TON of information that is all available on the net without asking a single question. If I had a problem, I searched until I found my answer. Sure there is a lot of information, but you will always find an answer. Just a matter of taking the time to read. Google is the best source ! :-)

@psychosious You can also try to connect to 3.3 rail directly!
This might work for a status LED (on/off/error). If you want to use it for illumination effect the 3.3V can be a bit low.
Usually the forward current for blue LEDs are 2.9-3.1V
Keep in mind, the 3.3V rail delievers only 100mA!
That's enough for a few microcontrollers and a bunch of LEDs - not enough for your XMas tree!

@nicky_s14 Have you tried transforming them into EBOOT files files ? They can be compressed while changing the format.

So its looking like I want to do the mausberry varient if these power mods, which varient are people using mostly to get what I'm after tho?
      https://mausberry-circuits.myshopify.com/products/shutdown-circuit-use-your-own-switch

direct-plug micro-USB, 2-pin spring terminal header, or the versions with a USB female plug?

I'm still not 100% certain how this works but it looks like the switch only controls either the reset or power switch? If that's the case does the power switch still power everything directly?

What I'm thinking is this correct me if I'm wrong?

Power switch = hard on off power (no script for safe shut down)

Reset switch = mausberry switch with script that if in emulator and pressed quits the emulator and if not in emulator and is pressed runs script for safe reset?

I just wrote a "snes" folder to the roms map on the usb drive and put a game in that was't available in the existing rom list on my raspberry. The game is transferred and working. It looks like i don't need the raspberry to create the rom folders to transfer more roms. Writing the subfolders manually in the "roms" folder seems to work.

I just bought an iPad battery for this setup, I’ll publish the latest build video soon... a little more editing to do to make it flow better... most things on my channel are Dubious:) ... health and safety takes a back seat (stupidity prevails)...

Update: I believe I have located all of the files associated with “ControlBlock Service” (photo attached). The SD Card is currently mounted to a Windows PC and I am using a software called “Diskinternals” to view the files. However, the software only allows me to “read” and “copy” from the files located in the SD Card.

Can someone please share of a method on how to write (delete) files from the SD Card while mounted to a Windows PC? Thank you0_1516787146377_3276996D-D569-4F4B-A4BD-8AE974D51703.png

@skullgazing That's not enough info. Please answer the questions outlined in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.
The message Errors are logged to /dev/shm/runcommand.log is the default message shown by the Runcommand before running any game. If there's an error somewhere, it might be logged in that file, so you could paste the contents of the files when you answer the questions from the page above.
