AARM and Skraper appear to be Windows Specific Applications

Yes, but that doesn't mean they can't run on Linux. For Linux, you can try Skyscraper, has a lot more flexibility than the built-in EmulationStation scraper.

I tried to create the udev role, but that didn't worked for me and i actually dont know why it has to be this specific file name for the rules.

Please add some info about your setup, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

The filename's extension is important since this is how udev recognizes it as a configuration file. The name itself doesn't matter, as long as it's in the right folder and having the correct extension.

What error are you getting when you're trying to create the file ?

Either way, check you connection to github.com - that's the reason the installation is not working.
If you run manually one of the git commands, what error do you get ?

Instructions are based on Ubuntu 16.04 but works just the same on newer versions: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Debian/

@technicaljunky It's not a problem if PulseAudio is present - the only issue for you seems to be EmulationStation's audio settings, which should be solvable with the correct configuration.

RetroPie doesn't have any built-in support for an extra display for marquees - the solution you may have found is probably using its own theming capability that you can use.

      @mitu
      Thanks for the help.

After some reading up, found that the Nvidia driver 340.108 has already EOL.
Last supported was for Kernel version 5.4.

Perhaps this is the reason why the driver is not running well in the latest Ubuntu.

@EctoOne Oh, that's a real bummer. I thought the package with the "-Linux-64Bit.tar.gz" in the filename from the releases page, which is build with PyInstaller would solve issues like that in the future. I get a fontconfig error with it on my current system and it can be a local issue on my machine. Not very encouraging, but maybe you could try to run that.

But well, it contains binary files, so from security standpoint I can understand when you don't even want try that.

@thorndike said in Joystick configuration on Atari Fight Stick:

First, when configuring the joystick through emulationstation which set of configuration options should I use to configure the joystick? The first set of directional inputs, or those farther down in the configuration menu?

You can use both to navigate EmulationStation, but most games expect something similar to a D-Pad (the first), so I'd use that.

I am currently using the first set of directional inputs but the joystick is very sensitive. If using the other directional inputs don't make a difference is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of the joystick?

You can try to increase the deadzone for the joystick using evdev-joystick , a command line utility.
