Shoot, well I dug a little deeper into the KLOV site, and it looks like there are some reviews on there after all (not many tho, and several games simply aren't reviewed at all). But PlayRetroGames.com and Adb.arcadeitalia.net seem to be other sites that have some occasional reviews (as well as IMDB itself, since let's face it, some actors are now appearing in video games). So I feel bad about the massive list, but I may leave it up for a bit, just in case anyone here is at all familiar with any of those games, who knows...

@mortalwombat I keep an SSD plugged into my case and it just sits under the TV so you can't see anything for the most part.

If you really want an all-in-one solution, Argon just released a new case that holds an M.2 SSD inside.

@dteam Thank you for the kind words, this means a lot to me. Initially I had plans on doing more with other systems too, but the way I did it was too much work for me and a lot has changed in my private life too. The plans are still there, just with little bit less of scope. As for this document, off course there are things I would have done differently now. But that will always be the case. And did anyone notice the starts at the last "Thank you for reading" page are clickable links to some websites?^^ So guess this makes them to Easter eggs.

Just for the fun and sake of discussion, what games did you miss on the list? Or what games does not belong to it in your own opinion? How many of you are on Raspberry Pi 3 or older?

For my DOSBox setup, I have mouse control set to a toggle. By default my left thumbstick acts as the standard joystick for DOSBox, but with a button press it's able to control mouse movement. I also have it set to change the two joystick buttons to left and right mouse clicks. This works well for the Atari ST and Amiga systems too, as several games need to be launched from an emulated desktop environment. Once the game is launched, I press the toggle button again and it reverts back to being a joystick. All that said, I still use a mouse and keyboard when I feel they're better suited. It all depends on the situation and the game.

@tonytoon I forgot to mention that the displays I have found are typically VGA, but many of them also have DVI ports. I found a cheap HDMI-to-DVI adapter which is the way to go. DVI cables are bulky, so this little adapter basically upgrades the display to HDMI.

Also, I un-shell them and discard the plastic bezel. This sometimes requires me to relocate adjustment buttons which has not been a problem. You end up with a screw-mountable steel bracket reinforced screen with the driver board/power intact, just not all of the branded plastic.

So I ended up downloading the Hyperspin 2D cover set and it worked incredibly for this purpose.

I do have one question though: We used to be able to scrape folders and add metadata to the folder itself. For example, for multi-disc PSX games, I'd put both discs in a folder and scrape the folder to have the metadata displayed when highlighted in the gamelist. Every time I try and do that now though, ES crashes and I get the following error...

"lv10: TheGamesDBRequest - Error parsing XML.
      Start-end tags mismatch
terminate called after throwing an insyance of 'std::out_of_range'
      what(): map::at
      Aborted"

Does anyone know if attaching metadata to a folder was removed recently? I am currently running 4.3.8.

@dankcushions This is true! I've been thinking the same, but how well does the PS1 games run on the RPI3?

good news! perfectly :) there a few psx games with niggles but 99% will run at full speed with no issues.

Stumbled into those two titles which look quite interesting:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alien_Syndrome there are NES and SMS ports, but the arcade version is far superior. Terrific 2-player action

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeon_Explorer still have to try it. This one got a followup on the Super Famicom called Crystal Beans, it's only in japanese but there's a fanmade translation patch for it.

EDIT: also, changed the thread title to add the 'coop' bit

@bowspirt I'm under the impression that I play it on lr-mame2003. If you want to share some of the runcommand logs it might share some more light on what's missing.
