@mitu Actually, OpenGLES 3.1 should allow OpenGL 4.3+ applications. However, with OIT core needing better hardware than normal core (higher cpu freq), the overhead from the libretro API, and those maker boards already struggling with normal standalone reicast, i don't expect this core to run full speed on Odroid XU4. I could be wrong though.
I inputed /dev/shm/runcommand.log and the response I got was: "Permission denied"
That's not how you open a file in Linux. Use SSH and copy the file from the filesystem, then open it on your PC to take a look at it/paste it here. Also, have you checked the docs I mentioned and the checksum of your BIOS files ?
@gomisensei
Does Reicast even work on the retropie? What are the original names for the bios and flash files? Is there a best way to copy the files over, I just copied them in Ubuntu?
I got ecco the dolphin to work but not sonic
if you got ecco to work, then its almost definitely a problem with the sonic files, the bios is fine.
libretro reicast does work on the pi, but the performance is trash.
I've been testing and the libretro reicast just works, isn't as functional as the standalone one, there are bugs and is slow. the only advantage is the naomi support.
EDIT: I should have said that is still experimental and you have to compile it yourself.
@caelthunderwing I'm using 'Reicast' on PC. Removed Reicast then updated the retropiesetup script, came from 4.2 to 4.4.1 Then I installed Reicast and updated from source, not sure that was necessary...
@steptoe Started out with my old work laptop that had a Linux on it, installed Retropie just to tinker around and ended up with an arcade machine build around it :-) Since I had most components laying around, the cost was around 100 euro...well worth the price!
@fnkngrv Yes, the arm dynarec got fixed, and multi-thread implemented (you need to toggle it through core options though), however i think you talk about the non-OIT version ? Also, i know some games needs more ressources.
@mememinister , I am trying to do the same thing but can't get my mapping working manually. Only through the ES menu Configuration Input. Do you do your mapping in es_input.cfg or in retroarch.cfg? My retroarch.cfg gets ignored or at least that is what it seems like. Do you have a little manual how you did the mapping?
