Strange new problem happened when i installed Retropie 4.1 and then Es-kids.

When i have roms from mame2003 in libretro-mame folder or arcade folder es wont start and boots to cmd line. This don't happen with regular es.

only lr-fbalpha core keeps parity with current FBA romset. you can safely update the rest without worrying about your romset :)

Which RPI version? What kind of SD card? How large is the storage of the SD card? You need to provide more info so people can help you.

@BuZz I understand....I was just in a hurry to get up and running...and with the info I received....my issues was resolved...

you will probably need a powered usb hub for the controller.

@inteldork those sdl errors are normal. The dependencies get fixed after usually.

What software are you using to turn your GPIO button presses into key strokes?

All right, I went into there and removed the line referring to "reset" from that file and saved it, but the SELECT button still resets the game. Also I still can not gain acess to the options menu through the joypad or keyboard, but only for the N64 emu.

Version 4.1.1 (grabbed it from github with manual install on raspbian). RPi model B.
Yeah, tried both removing and reinstalling. No luck with that. Maybe github version of the driver is a bit outdated..? product and vendor ID's are correct, but something is just not working with 4.4 kernel.

@backstander just to make sure we're not having miscommunication, you're using multiple controllers at once? The hid quirk seemed to have no affect....

I ended up wiping the micro sd card and reinstalling everyone from a different computer (just in case), and i still have the same issue..... The dev Gods must hate me! :(

Not as clever or cheap, but might be of use to the technically challenged like myself?!

@SOSretro same here. Zonmack controllers just vibrate. Following to see if you find a solution.
