@mitu That's what I have been using. The only reason I wanted a libretro core was because my pi would often crash when launching other games/emulators after using Drastic. If there is a way to completely unload Drastic after closing it that would be great but thanks for your help 👍

@mitu Indeed. I have been careful about case. I manage some old school UNIX boxes at work, so I am not unfamiliar with case issues. I am using a keyboard attached directly, not SSH.

Five reboots later, I was just able to get it to work. I have no explanation. (I have parkinson's and typically have a ton of typos, so I am going to just assume user error for now.)

@gizmo90 you could also put them in the arcade folder. The arcade folder let's you select from multiple different arcade emulators (libretro mame, advmame, fba etc) it's used for organizing if you have multiple romsets and you want to keep them all in the same place.

Quick update. I re-flashed and figured it out.

The problem was that i had the PS3 controller driver enabled and this was disconnecting the ps4 controller after it had synced up as they don't work together.

So i disabled the ps3 driver and then just blue-toothed the PS4 pad the normal way (without the DS4 driver) and it works perfectly.

@Parabolaralus Are you using the prioprietary Nvidia drivers or the nouveau (open-source) driver ? What video driver are you using in RetroArch ?

@menace23 are you going to the retropie setup script, manage packages, optional, reicast, configure/tools menu then input configuration? That’s the way I did it and it worked.

Well I solved my problem. Found that somehow I had given ownership of the apple II ROMs to "root". I restored ownership to "pi" and high scores are working now.

@necrominog i am not sure. I would have to look into that. I use a real dvd drive in my setup. Did you look in the basiliskii config file?

@jarhead0313 I wouldn't post multiple times about the same issue. Which MAME emulator? Seems like you have mapped the buttons incorrectly. Tell us more about the setup according to https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first How did you configure?

Yeah I'm feeling it! :) I'll get there eventually. I'm just boggled why the video previews weren't working. It's crazy.

@cyperghost Glad to hear but the Jazz Jackrabbit scriptmodule is not ready yet. Since i managed to find out how to create a scriptmodule it will be a lot quicker to get it done. :-)
