@chorlton2080 You didn't as you provided none of the requested information in the post - but with your attitude, you are unlikely to find any help here (or last very long on this forum).

Figured it out. Had to go into RetroArch > Settings > Input > Input User 1 Binds and manually bind/map the controller buttons there. Not sure why the remap under RetroArch > Quick Menu > Controls didn't bind/map correctly, but I suspect because of what I mentioned above with the evtest. Thanks for your help everyone!

Update: Fixed the input lag issue I was experiencing.

Issue: Having two PS4 USB wireless adaptors plugged into the retropie at the same time was causing interference in the Bluetooth signals causing variable input lag when playing multiplayer games like street fighter iii: third strike.

Fix: I got a USB extension cable, plugged one end into the retropie and connected one of the dongles into the other end. This allowed me to create a bit of separation between the two USB adapters which was enough to remove the interference they were running on each other.

Hope that helps anyone else running into this issue while using multiple PS4 controllers connected to multiple USB dongles on the retropie. Btw, the dongles have worked out really well in my experience, much better (in terms of input responsiveness) than connecting the PS4 controllers directly to the Bluetooth from retropie.

@edm203 No, I added my own. There seems to be an issue with emulationstation getting the correct name too.

I would personally get another controller (like a real one).
Can we also see a picture of the PS3 controller? It could be real, it could be fake and possibly RetroPie is assuming something else.

Could the advanced config of:

Advanced Configuration
Configure Libretro options
Select "all/retroarch.cfg"
Select input_joypad_drive(uset)
Select sdl2
Select OK

Be causing the problem?

@HomeGrownHeroz Kodi can't act as a Plex Media Server, they are two different things, with some similar features.
Kodi can also act as a media server, although in a different way, all devices needs to have a full Kodi installation. Plex is easier to setup, as a media server and the respective clients.
What you can do in Kodi is using it as a Plex Client, using the addon below, which will be connected to a Plex Media Server, that is what you installed in Raspbian.

I used to run N64 on my pi when i first got one, i messed with every game i could, but i could only get about 6 games working to the point where i considered them playable and they were all early games such as wave race, mario 64, mario kart, etc. Golden eye in my experience runs way too slow on any setting.

I gave up and just deleted all of it off my Pi and got an Everdrive64 flash cart for my actual console, haha.

Yep, fixing the corrupted system ROMs was the key. The controls are dreadful and the emulator doesn't want to respond to F9 to exit, but those are other issues I can address. Thanks again!
