@cjc1972 I am replying to myself as I didn't know how else to close the post and for any others that may run into a similar issue. under scaling/integar scale I had enabled and after disabling resolved the issue.

I'm not familiar with the way you apply the style sheets to make it look good.

There's more than stylesheets in place, the Markdown (.md) files in the repository are run through mkdocs to produce the site.

Unfortunately there's no easy way to produce an offline form of the docs and that's unavailable at the moment. There's an option to mirror it into a sub-folder with wget, but because most of our images are not locally saved this will save an offline set of HTML pages without images.

@sleve_mcdichael though most games seem to work without vfsroot available, I'm not sure it's not internally used somewhere.

If preview.bmp does not already exist in $romdir/ports/cgenius/games/[game], one will be created in ~/.CommanderGenius/games/[game] (since these are no longer linked to the same place.) If it does exist in $romdir, nothing is created in ~/.CommanderGenius.

    Is this broken or legit?

    I don't think it's broken.

Ok, I needed to revert another change, which was to set GL Driver to "Legacy" with raspi-config. This gave me the message "GL Driver is disabled", or something like that. No wonder projectM was slow!

Just curious if it is a direct Pi replacement and my retropie SD card from my dead Pi would work "as is" in one of these ?

    No, it will not work.

@Sailing_Nut i used to map "CANCEL UI" to "´select´ & ´start´" in AdvanceMAME.
This quits a game with the hotkey-combination we all know from the lr-emulators ;D

A single dance pad can't be used even to get half of the Power Pad because the center square on dance pads is not active. Assuming the Power Pad works inside like a Konami dance pad, the sensors are analog (pressure sensitive resistance), so you can't just hook up the guts to a PI, and you need a microcontroller with 12 analog pins. I don't know if the Power Pad's digital electronics can work with the PI's 3.3v GPIOs. A full solution for the Power Pad 12 button side is to overlap TWO dance pads and use bleeding edge fceumm libretro core: https://www.instructables.com/Playing-NES-Power-Pad-Games-in-Emulation/

@mitu said in Shanwan usb controller analog/d-pad switch issue:

Which manual ? The one that I found for this gamepad mentions the Home button to switch between XInput/DInput.

I refer to the same manual

@mitu said in Shanwan usb controller analog/d-pad switch issue:

Since most games don't support the analog controls, it's normal. RetroArch has a setting for the controller (Analog to Digital Type) to make the joystick control the D-Pad, without the game supporting it.
Open the RetroArch menu, go to Controls -> Port 1 Controls and set Analog to Digital Type to Left Analog or Right Analog to use the joysticks instead of the D-Pad.

I have also a PS1 controller and I'm able to switch between analog and digital in games, so I thought to do the same with shanwan too

@lostless the number of pulses are just to tell the microcontroller (or computer) which coins you are putting in. So you can set a quarter for 5 and a dime for 4 and so on. So when you set up an electrical piggy bank. The computer can tell which coins you put in. I'm guessing I would have to put some type of resisiter for this to work which is beyond my present capabilities. I went ahead and bought one off of X Arcades site. They have one with the microcontroller and stuff hooked up so all you have to do is Jerry rig it to your buttons or just connect it straight to the USB encoder. So hope it all works when it comes in lol

    @mitu Hello.

I have modified the emulator installation script as follows:

    addEmulator 0 "$md_id" "psp" "pushd $md_inst; XDG_CONFIG_HOME=$home/.config/$md_id ./PPSSPPSDL ${extra_params[*]} %ROM%; popd"

So that emulators.cfg looks like this:

    ppsspp-1.10.3 = "pushd /opt/retropie/emulators/ppsspp-1.10.3; XDG_CONFIG_HOME=/home/pi/.config/ppsspp-1.10.3 ./PPSSPPSDL --fullscreen %ROM%; popd"

And the operation is as desired, I have separate configuration files for the specific version of ppsspp.

    Thank you

@mitu I fixed it! There was a problem with the Wi-Fi links around the house, as i was in the back room. It appears that the keyboard has a problem, so that is probably fine as I connected a ps3 controller via Bluetooth. Thank you!

This has been accepted and merged on GlideN64 master branch, so the game should be fixed when updating from source on RetroPie setup.

@mitu that actually lit the lightbulb!

It turns out that the Xbox controller was the offender. Somehow it was messing with emulationstation when left on while rebooting. If I turn off the controller, everything comes back from restart no problem.
