Does it work if you plug a keyboard and press the "lshift" key ?

Try to use 7Zip to open the backup .img and copy your files from it.

Yip certain games require seperate Bios NeoGeo being one of those types, for the record MAME2003+ supports Metal Slug 5

@mitu I think just to allow for user preference. Non x11 platforms can only really be full screen. But if it's not working it can be added as a workaround.

@mitu I went to the redream site and downloaded it and placed it in the opt/emulator/dreamcast folder and it works great.

My system is still 4.7 which is probably why it doesn't show a redream binary after 2020 available. Anyway, the workaround fixed it. Thanks for your help guys.

I meant to send a PR myself, but looks like the Github's web interface didn't go through with it. I've amended their Wiki page with the command line options and sent a small PR to fix the sample .conf from the repository.

@Lolonois oh yah, it looks like this is the same issue as that.

I'm using linapple. It does not appear to support .zip files (platforms.cfg), but adding the Apple2 suffixes to that list in nametools.cpp does look like it might do the trick.

@Zangdaarr Another Late Reply - I came across this while trying to figure out why Hi Scores were not being saved while trying to write using ROMS on a network share. I had given the User I had created access rights, however, I believe that the rw (read/write) and the file/dir mode of 777 (read, write and execute (I believe)) is the secret sauce. Glad that this is in the User Guide...but, just overlooked by me until today.

Yes, we need to document the rotation/size options. The screenrotate parameter should be 1 through 3 (see this commit), for your usage values 1 or 3 would have to be used.

Does rotation work without the super-resolution (with or without xrandr controlled rotation) ? What other parameters are you using for starting emulationtation ?

Run emulationstation --debug <plus your other params> and post the output on pastebin.com. Run also xrandr --verbose and post the output.
