      @justkiller91 This behavior isn't normal.
      I never saw something interfering a bluetooth signal like that so I guess your pi is broken at some point.

      A bluetooth dongle should fix that, but I would send my raspberry back to whereever you bought it and get a new one

      This is my opinion/way to solve it, it could be "correct" but it hasn't to.

      @EctoOne

      These scripts can be considered experimental at best.

      Wouldn't recommend installing them

      @Caligula88 first thing to note:
      Please do not post a support request without first reading and following the advice in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

      Now, 2 questions:

      Did you configure your joysticks on emulationstation? Paste here the output of this command: ls /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-joypads/

      @chubbz619

      What do you mean, it detects it?

      Can you give some information about your setup, are you using mk_arcade_joystick? How have you configured it? What hardware are you using?

      Try filling out the info from the read this first post linked at the top of the page.

      Thank you for anwseri g steptoe!
      I'm Sorry for that, but what's 5G?

      I have a PS3 and of course controllers for it, but I like to use the "originals" shape of Controller for each emulator. For example the USB version of NES Controller for NES games and the USB version of N64 controller for N64 games.
      There are Bluetooth versions of them too, but these are way more expensive than the USB ones. So my decision is to use the USB ones.

      @burtthaman there is also a recaist button mapping utility in retropie setup. I have mapped several different controllers that way and have not had any issues with it.

      @MRZ999 yes this is how retropie still works. Unless your using a older version from around 1 year and half ago. There was a change to how retro arch saw controllers by the order they were plugged In, but was reversed shortly after.

      @DarkWolf mhhh i have not test the ps4 controller yet. With my Arcadestick and retropie i think it is approximately every 10th step. With recalbox i got the trouble more often. (that is the reason i give retropie a try again)

      My turn !
      I use a couple of my old PS3 controllers (no need to review those I think).

      I also acquired a Hori Fighting Stick Mini 4, for arcade purpose.
      It's a USB 8 buttons arcade stick, small and pretty light, but though and quite stable if put on a coffee table.
      I couldn't find better for 30€, and it's also compatible with PS3/4.

      Make sure the roms have the correct file extensions The hub could defenitely be a reason for this.
      You could try a hub with a own power supply...

      So, any clue why those things are happening?
      The 8bitDo not being correctly usable, and the Switch pro regularly losing connection.

      Just go for a PS3 controller. Now mind you, you need to plug in the PS3 controller via microUSB, then finding ps3controller on the RetroPie setup.

      This should probably help you.
