@mitu I got it connected finally. Going to try and get Daphne enabled, and Dragon's Lair on there under the Daphne roms folder. Just going to use the USB flash drive to do it for now.

Just sort Hypseus.

I swapped over to Hypseus, and was able to get everything running (tested on Dragon's Lair). Thank you again for the suggestion!

@mitu - It's working perfectly, I tested several games and all exit immediately without the -noserversend command (thanks for the tip @DirtBagXon) . Thanks a bunch for the fix and have a nice weekend. Enjoy the games if you're a watcher! :)

I found the error. On my Pi4, I was with Daphne and each rom had a preset for the screen. With Hypseus, I no longer need this setup because it is "fullscreen" by default. This is a transition error between Daphne and Hypseus. Thanks for the support. Does Hypseus support MP4 format?

Just use hypseus.

Dragonise is a generic USB controller name used in a great deal of encoders, so there's no single mapping that will work with them. If you configure your controller in EmulationStation, then the mapping you chose there should be saved in dapinput.ini automatically.

Please add some more info about your setup, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first and post your dapinput.ini file.

About recent news........ Dragon's Lair 2 and Space Ace now can be played correctly on my Intel NUC Retropie setup.

About 'lair2' i have also add a movie/audio whit better quality........ and also for lair2 i have add a lair2.commands contain:

-x 1920 -y 1080

Now i can play at "Full HD" dragon lair 2 - time warp on my Full HD TV...... lol.

Now i have need one suggestion....... about space ace 'ENHANCEMENT' rom.

My principal question it's...... how i can know what exact .m2v and .ogg files need ??

Another question it's......... about subfolder need to create in roms i can use every subfolder i want or every games need a specific folder name ??
For example:
Dragon's Lair 2 currently i use 'lair2.daphne' and 'lair2.zip' for roms
Space Ace i use ace.zip for roms (that contain the A3 roms) and 'ace.daphne'

But for example...... if i want to add space ace enhacement what folder i need to use ?

It's exist a hypseus .DAT for know if i have or know all files need to have to play a games ?

Digging further, I noticed the dapinput file I modified had it's changes undone. Not sure how that happened, but re-entering my custom mappings fixed my issue despite my joystick being assigned js1. Perhaps the Daphne documentation is out of date to the current version.

Success! Ok i figured it out. This is going to be a long one so sit back, but anyone with a similar problem, i hope this will work for you. Again I am running RetroPie on a raspberry Pi 3 with a Pi2Jamma adaptor and i ran the retropiergb mod to output to a 15khz monitor. so i figured that this was an issue with the run command, so i found a file in the /opt.retropie/configs/all, named runcommand-onend.sh . In it there is a line for HDMI timings that was different then the one in the global config.txt in the boot folder. so i added the correct timings and # out the originals and it worked! but then for some reason mame was outputting a very stretched image at 1920x240, so i went into the configuration options in the run command menu and changed the settings in the edit custom retroarch config option. In it you will see that the custom viewport is set to 1920x240, so i just added a pond symbol before the commands. Since the layout seems to be UK it is a £ instead of # for us Americans but it works just the same. and now mame defaults to the listed game resolution. I have no Idea why these options did this but I wasn't going to let this beat me. I hope this helps.
