      @oleguer said in Make super pc using raspberry & retropie??:

      And my question is, you can put 2or4 raspberry pi on raid to use like one "big" pc to use retropie and enhanced the emulator cores??

      That's not how clustering or RAID works.

      or this is imposible on retropie??

      This task distribution/scaling is not suited for emulation.

      Did that, but nothing changed.
      I have no idea where else to look.

      Well I'll be damned. Worked PERFECTLY.
      Now I just need to figure out how to adjust the screen size so it fits behind the OE gameboy overlay.

      Argh, dammit - I thought I just can redefine the joypad-mapping, because the dialogue said "1 Joypad detected" :-X
      Works, thanks :-)

      @pheedback I had the same issue when I got my RPI4 a few weeks ago.

      I have a fairly old 1080p Sony Bravia, first boot nothing so then all the usual cable swapping etc and managed to get video but no sound out of the other hdmi port. (Sound only from hdmi port 0 by default but can be changed).

      After reading some posts on the official rpi forum, I tried a newer 1080p tv which ran perfectly. I have since read it could be the 4K output is not compatible with old 1080p tv’s, maybe an old hdmi version on the old tv?

      I’ve gone back to the Sony TV and it works perfectly now, maybe the rpi has defaulted to a 1080p signal that it detected from the newer tv.

      @Tuaterra said in Problem with Visuals on Gameboy Emulators on Retropie:

      When I then try and press some buttons it interacts with the game as if it's running normally as I can tell by the audio giving the sounds of me pressing start on the menu screen, etc, it's just that the visuals do not load at all.

      So the video output is sent somewhere else - maybe the system has multiple displays configured, but you haven't provided any details about it.

      if it's screensaver / screenblanking shouldn't it happen when other screens are attached as well ? the settings about it do not change when switching screens so in theory he should have the issue on every screen attached then

      This is how I fixed laggy N64 performance on my 4K tv:

      hit F4
      cd /boot
      sudo vi config.txt

      in config.txt, add the following to force 1080p:

      hdmi_group=2
      hdmi_mode=82

      [hdmi:0]
      hdmi_max_pixel_freq=200000000

      [hdmi:1]
      hdmi_max_pixel_freq=200000000

      Any other way to change emulators?

      Ask the image authors for that - we can't guess what modification they've performed to the image they distribute.

      Thank you for replying @mitu

      I mean the folders that store the game art, video snaps and wheel art.

      Leave them on the SD card then change the metadata in the gamelist.xml file to point to the Roms folder on the SD card.

      Regards

      You're using an unsupported installation method, that's why you're having problems. I guess you've been installing based on a certain outdated and wrong youtube video.

      Thank you!
