Well, I'm not certain what your options are on the Pi for manipulating the audio output so that the soundbar doesn't skip. Does the soundbar have an option for different sound modes you could try? Maybe the choppiness is due to some post processing of the signal at the bar?
I deleted the controller config at
/opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch/autoconfig/LogitechGamepadF710.cfg
and the button conflict was resolved. Don't know why this file and the core specific retroarch.cfg would be in conflict or over riding each other.
Olde Core2Duo MacMini 2009 remains the best. It still runs all modern stuff, does decent N64 including upscaling to 1920x1200 and it is easy to configure and boots nice (with space invader replacing the apple off course).
Cool, but I'd like to stick with a retro controller @StormJH1 Quick question, are the n64 remotes prices going up? The n64 is the next step for me, (as it says in my signature) and I don't want the prices to go up too much.
@mattrixk
Ah you cannot turn on analog triggers....Retropie cannot read them...only analog sticks.
The retropie only reads on or off for the triggers. :-(
Anyone correct me if I am wrong on this.
I made this VS video a bit ago but I also go into how to enable it. Not hard :-)
