was added to the grid view, that would enable scrollSound whilst using the grid possibly? maybe that's a workaround?

The reason for the crash is probably shown in the emulator log file (/dev/shm/runcommand.log) can you get the files's contents and post it ?

@fluffypillow Perfect, exactly what I was looking for. I knew about purpose of "./", "[ ]" is new to me though. Going to work on fixing the system logo sizes, other than that the rest of the theme seems to be as it should. Thanks again!

@lilbud basically it’ll just continue to boot then next part of the os without waiting for a WiFi signal and will connect when it’s ready in the background . Without it, It’ll wait either for an connection or just timeout and then continue to boot. No need to to have a solid WiFi connection on a retro pie setup. Where you would want it is if your project requires internet or WiFi to run your project so it has WiFi before the whole OS boots.

If the emulator itself doesn't implement bezels, then there's not much that can be done to externally overlay an image, since most emulators need exclusive/fullscreen access to the video output.

@muldjord Thanks - that works well. I've modified my script output a one-liner to execute Skyscraper as you suggest. It'd be nice if there was a way to pipe a bunch of those "--query "md5=HASH" FILENAME" pairs into the cmd, so it could minimize the startup/rampdown stuff and provide better progress tracking.

@inolen one more question...is it possible to make save input for a specific game or a specific button to switch from gamepad to axis controler. The problem is mainly that I'm also using two Hori Fight Sticks mini 4, so there is only a stick (gamepad) :) In some games there is the main controler the axis or gamepad. So every time I want to play a different game I have to reconfigure the controller from axis to gamepad or vice versa.

This is just a wish (feature?:) )...nothing more :) If it's to complicate to implement or configure then don't bother :)

@Tim-s-up The retropie weekly dev builds are usable and nowhere near as buggy as lakka. For example, Lakka still crashes endlessly with the ozone theme since July. Also, retropie uses retroarch as well...

@klachow You can see the version when you start the RetroPie-Setup script.
To get this, you should EmulationStation and then re-configure your gamepad to the joystick axis are added to the input configuration.
For manual installation, you can look at @chipsnblip's instructions.
