@Bluebotlabs I know what your original post was asking. If you want mouse support right NOW, you can use the pegasus frontend as an alternative. It uses emulationstation's scraped art/gamelist info except for logos/marquees.

Feh lets you configure its actions for keyboard keys and mouse buttons. See its manpage for further information, and this post in the official Raspberry Pi forum. The action to exit feh is called quit in its configuration files.

So, maybe you could configure a quit key in feh and set a very high delay time in Retropie. Just an idea after a little research, I don't have any practical experience with this.

I recently installed retropie on my Raspberry 4 and one of my main goals was to emulate the Channel F System. (my first gaming console when i was a child). I did a manual install (i missed the experimental package) and it works fine with all roms.

I see the game selection screen, can change the games but i cannot start a single game.

Is it a problem of the Rom, controller config or the Emulator?

Meanwhile all works fine. It was just a controller problem. I love to remember this old console despite the games are really bad. But if you ever had the original, you remember the childhood and the hours i have played "Maze" wth my friend.

For new games, this is probably not even worth a try.

mame works fine with different directories the only issue you will have is with scrappers if you know how to do this though youll be fine. You can have a 2003 and 2010 dir with the roms all you have to do it pick the right emulator when launching

I too want this to happen, and I might look into it myself. But it is a bit daunting as I have little experience with the emulator except for using it when running Memotech MTX512 games and software.

Has anyone managed to make Cartridges work for Vic-20? With Vice there is the possibility to add the -cartgeneric parameter, but I tried with lr-vice and it doesn't work.

@hackedmacbook111 This is a RetroPie forum, not a macOS forum. Besides, RetroPie is not responsible for developing the emulators, it just packages and configures existing emulators. If you want to run emulators on your macOS, then use the macOS versions of those emulators.

Maybe an issue with the relevant config and then - once a consensus is reached - a PR ?

@Yarmongrel yea mame has a few modifications they also put changes upstream to the official Musashi. I havent used blastem so couldnt comment on it being less accurate or not what 68k core is blastem using?

@mitu might be easier to take the amiberry route and use the generated retroarch configs.

Works with existing configs then and will be more reliable.

Its is the best method.

This task distribution/scaling is not suited for emulation.
