Indeed I can load the ROMS without the USB connected.
I want them to stay om my USB or Network so I will try the second link also.
    Thx for the information.

Ok. Can I check the card's read speed with win32 disk imager ? Didn't know that. Will try.

Anyways I wrote the default retropie 4.3 image on it, using the method I use everytime, so that's why I think about the card.

The network transfers on it seemed slow to me, too.

@edmaul69 it does work but just normally, like bluemsx, and with crappy sound. In BlueMSX pc version of the emu, you need to choose MSXturbo in order to get the hack working, so i thought it would work just the same as that :/

I had this issue in N64 and all it took was a reboot to fix it. If I can remember what the issue was I will post it to see if it's related or not.

Nope, none of those ips are mine. Looks like it’s trying to connect to different servers but seems to fail. It was a stock image used from berry boot and updated through apt-get. I did have an open port on my router to acess it away from the house. I was previously running raspberry stretch and realized I was unable to load retropie on it (well easily anyways) so I did a fresh install and left the port open without changing the password before setting up roms first.. I forgot the port was open as on the stretch I changed the password and user already. So I’m assuming someone is rolling through ips on port 22 and default user and passwords seeing what they can connect to. I’m curious as to what was involved in this malware if that was the case.

I figured out how to do this.

In case anyone is interested or cares, I just added the emulators.cfg info from /opt/retropie/configs/residualvm into the scummvm emulators.cfg from here /opt/retropie/configs/scummvm.

I then copied the grim-win.rvm into /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/scummvm and also edited the es_systems.cfg so ScummVM included .RMV files.

I've encountered this too. Usually just disabling, hitting B (back to apply), and then re-enabling brings it up fine.

@thultisu Enable SSH, login as the pi user (password is _raspberry), run sudo ~/RetroPie-Setup/retropie_setup.sh, go to the Emulationstation package and reset the controller configuration.

I think I may have found the problem - fake DS3 controllers.

They look great, absolutely like the genuine article, but having a look at some YouTube videos they do have a few of the similarities described in some of the videos for fake controllers. For example, the top of the box they came in is light blue rather than the darker, patterned blue of a real box, approximately 1 minute in to this video

They also won't connect through the offical PS3 configuration in the menu - I have to use the Shanwam (is that the right word?) setup/driver to make them work.

When I plug them into my PC it says a PS3 Controller has been detected - would it say something else if they were genuine? Like DualShock 3 detected or similar?

Also, as above, they just don't seem to want to charge. Lights will flash when plugged into my computer using the cable that was supplied with them, but they never stops flashing, and its all 4 lights flashing rather than just one.

When plugged into the Pi they just won't stop vibrating either!

Girlfriend got them from eBay and while they look the part I'm convinced this could be the problem. Shame, as I don't really want to have to spend £50 a pop on DualShock 4 controllers!

Maybe I could get some battery packs and dig out my old Xbox 360 pads instead? They're great, but the batteries on them are dying.

Hi, thanks a lot to everybody for the answers! And my apologize to not being clear in my question.
I have a panel with just one coin button. And more or less, a part games like vendetta, it works, even with other emulators. But of course I'd like to have a complete experience, so I'm trying to figure out a way without changing panel, if there is no solution I'll dig another hole, but is going to be a quite a mess, so I'd like to avoid it.
I try to wire player2 coin to player1 coin. It works, everytime I press coin button I get 2 coins and with vendetta games I have another player ready to go. But with other emulators it's a mess, it's like pressing select button at the same time for both users and as example for PC Engine games I had lot's of problem, so I roll back.
The only working way, without doing another hole, in my opinion, it's a combo buttons (hot-key), like Start Player 2 + A player 2 button = player 2 coin, something like that. I'm using XiMo interface, and reading around I did not find any useful instruction on how to do it. Hot-keys are only available for particular purpose as far as I understand.

    thanks again
