@delirium_cordia RetroPie (and the Raspberry PI and other SBCs) are all about tinkering and learning new things. No need to rush things if you're not in a hurry - ask away in the forums if you cannot find the answer in the Docs.

@granderjoree I don't think that's possible either. The input_exit_emulator_btn can only have one value.

The CTR issue was resolved in another thread. The dynarec in LR-PSCX Rearmed is cutting out some of the graphics. It is not AFAIK currently fixable since the game is unplayable and slow with the dynarec turned off. CTR runs perfectly in BEETLE HW and I think there has been talk (maybe just talk, insert salt as required) of it being possible to port it to the Pi 4.

The RetroPie scriptmodule has some compilation flags set (per system) which might not be set when you manually compile. However, the compiler option that triggers the error (looks like -Werror) is not part of those flags. I just tested on 18.04 and the installation works fine, maybe the new gcc in 19.04 is more strict.

I think that's not supported at the moment, but I think it's a planned feature (custom platform aliases). I see you found a workaround in the mean time :).

I saw this thread, so I set up lr-hatari, got it working, and updated the docs, mostly just from the core's github readme. It worked pretty much first try, but the docs previously only covered Hatari standalone.

One thing I am not clear on is how you get the core to look at different BIOS files in order to emulate the STE or Falcon, but I haven't tried that yet.

The RPI zero/1 is not capable at emulating the ST at full speed.

@Crispy The only change that would affect this should be the changes in Emulationstation. The desktop - I assume - is only started on-demand.
You can take a look at the theme - it's in /etc/emulationstation/themes/carbon. If you wish to modify it, copy the folder to $HOME/.emulationstation/themes/carbon-mine and make your modifications there.

Actually I think it's part of the graphics or at least shader profile being used in mesa.
I have padoka's bleeding edge repository in use.. Otherwise known as unstable.
So things can go awry.. Like they did until I took a gander at the Makefile, saw some unused options, put 1 + 1 together and made some edits.. It worked a out beautifully.
Especially on the Flycast-Wince emu with the same Makefile edits. I'm playing Sega Rally 2 on 2x internal resolution, 2x br and a 4x pass xbr shaders without one hiccup.

Keep in mind this my first run with retropie x86. I decided to make small form factor emu box a month or so ago and gripped up a coffee lake NUC to guinea pig with. So everything is trial & error as I run with it.

Taalas and I worked on those, we had originally discussed including them on retroarch docs but retroarch was (is?) Still tweaking their input configs and you can have multiple retropad configs for the same console if you're using two diff emulators. It was hard to keep up/stay consistent with development as it seemed to change quite frequently.

The licences are gpl so there isn't any reason they couldn't be used on their docs as well but may be worth reaching out to whoever maintains their docs to make sure it fits their style guide/standards. I'm afraid I have other priorities as of recent and can't carry it on so happy for others to do so

@deadherring Looks fine. ApplePi Baker will write the image without the need to format (I don't think it knows to format the card).

I had the same problem. The navigation sound work but with delay, i press bottom and the sound play 2 seconds later. The video screen saver is not heard. The volume control although it changes it stays at zero. But the sound in the games is good.
I have tried all the options of "Audio Card" "Audio Device", but the only one I hear something is heard with a lot of lag.
This happened to me after I had updated the Emulation Station. Before updating it worked fine.

Is there any way to fix it?
