      Glad it worked out !
      NOTE: I added some code blocks around the scripts code so it's easier to see and (maybe) copy&paste for future users.

      You can use the "collections" functionality to have all the Pokemon games on a single list. When a game is selected, it will launch the game with the emulator required for the rom. I recommend checking the documentation ( https://retropie.org.uk/docs/ ), so you can setup the games with the best emulators. Once that's done, check this guide (look up collections) : https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/EmulationStation

      @technogeek69 sound like you have some sort of frame skip on where the games are running at 30fps vs 60. But we need to know your setup to help guide you to a solution.

      TLDR; -- map your USB encoder to match USB console pads

      REYANN ENCODER appears to work best as
      0:B, 1:A, 2:R1, 3:Y, 4:X, 5: L1, 6: L2, 7:R2, 8:SELECT, 9: START

      Did some more work with this. The joysticks work great when (when mapping of multiple are the same - as discussed). There was an issue where I started to need to remap per system if I was using USB console-like controllers.

      It started out to be fine, then started to become a pain - especially once I found and started to use this GEM by @meleu
      https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/740/having-more-than-one-player-1/18

      Since one set was remap, and the other wasnt, the graceful fallback didnt work.

      I rewired the USB encoder pins and its all working great. PIN:BUTTON layout at the top. LOVE I

      Use the default retroarch.cfg - leave aside all the hard sync settings (I don't think they're relevant for the Pi's GPU) and the audio settings. Also, a GPU mem of 256 is more than enough for most emulators, so I don't see any point in upping it to 512.

      @Dwarfboysim
      Any specific reasons to use RetroPie for that? If you are only interested in Amiga Emulation, maybe this Project: Amibian could be a suitable alternative for you.

      Otherwise, maybe a modification of the scripts mentioned in this topic: Autostart last played game could be used ?

      It just closes with mame 2003

      Make sure you have the proper ROMset for MAME-2003 for the game - when the emulator 'just closes', it's just a symptom of wrong ROMset.
      The ROMset versions needed for each arcade emulator are detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/docs/MAME/.

      In order for the Switch to be running on any single boards computer you would have to wait for a Pi 10 to have the actual CPU and GPU power to run the games or spend almost 400$ for the nvidia jetson tx2.

      I can't seem to be able to bind 2 different hotkey keys for my controls but that's ok. At least I can play now.

      Only Player1 is able to access the hotkeys' functions - P2 cannot control them (including opening the menu). Glad you got it working in the end.

      @Ryan78134 Just so you know..if you buy a Raspberry Pi 3 you can play dozens of systems/handhelds/arcade boards/computers..but ps2 is out of its reach. PS1 works fine and N64 is hit or miss.

      @mitu @BuZz @Efriim I finally got it working! :D

      local bin_file local bin_files local default local id local index local version ... some other code ... for index in "${!bin_files[@]}"; do default=0 [[ "$index" -eq "${#bin_files[@]}-1" ]] && default=1 # Default to the last item in 'bin_files'. version="${bin_files[$index]}" version="$(echo $version | cut -d'_' -f 2)" addEmulator "$default" "$md_id-$version-$id" "godot-engine" "$md_inst/${bin_files[$index]} --main-pack %ROM%" done

      So it seems like the error had something to do with the index variable (previously it was named i). Either it needed to be initialized as a local variable or the script didn't like that it was called i... I really don't know. But I got it working :)

      Another thing that I found and maybe it's worth mentioning (and correct me if I'm wrong) is that when I run:

      sudo ./retropie_packages.sh godot-engine configure

      the config file:

      /opt/retropie/configs/godot-engine/emulators.cfg

      seems to just add the new stuff on top of the previous configs that were already there. I mean, it doesn't delete the file and creates it again with the new configs.

      Shouldn't "deleting the old file and creating a new one" be the "correct" thing to do?

      Thanks! :)

      @Efriim
      Harvest Moon Innocent Life works. A youtube kid showed me how changing the PSP CPU Clock to 80 will get the game to load normally and not freeze on the island intro.
      System > Change emulated PSP's CPU clock = 80

      Harvest Moon Hero of Leaf Valley plays really well.
      Graphics > Mode = Buffered rendering
      Graphics > Simulate block transfer effects = False

      I couldn't get Wagic the Homebrew to work, not quite. The thing was kind of buggy on real PSP. There are quite a few versions, I didn't over exert myself trying to get all the assets to load without crashing, but it does start.

      I got Monster Hunter 3rd to play fairly well there are some minor slow downs like in the center of town. Like the other games, they can be played in non-buffered mode, and disable software skinning. Enable hardware transform and vertex cache. The first two games get better performance, overclock is recommended. 3rd has an english patch that is non-HD that and works for ppsspp.
      Graphics > Software skinning = False

      Kingdom of Paradise/Heaven plays fine.
