@kn1ghtone I am a little confused by your post.

I just removed power and Rasbian always boots.

You mean you just pull the cord? Not recommended.

      Then you say

retropie will not start after i do a shutdown from the menu. I can reboot it just fine. I can copy files to it. I can run games from it. As soon as I shut it down, it will not turn back on.

What do you mean by this? "Will not start?" followed by "I can boot just fine?" - What are you trying to do? Describe exactly. Once you shut down from the menu correctly, you have to disconnect the power. I use a switch for this purpose. Then, when you reconnect the power, it will boot. I am confused by your "I can boot just fine" comment.

Not sure if this helps, but this link will take you to a script that will install the xwiimote and xwiimote-tools packages.

Once installed you should be able to connect and configure the wiimote using the instructions here.

      Hope this helps!

@ivarwa I have done that multiple times, with different operating systems, NOOBS gave me error writing system partition, but at least it booted then. Now the light doesn't even turn on.

@dolfan1994 ok. By the way, to be clear, the file is supposed to be either under configs->all->emulationstation or something like that. I can't exactly remember where, but if you get stuck I can check.

@markyh444 Thanks a bunch! I read through it and it does look very tricky. I'm thinking it may just be easier to do a fresh install to be on the safe side. Thanks again!

      Hello Oscar,
Firstly I can tell that you didn't read the rules just by reading to your post. Please give it a look : https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first and edit your post accordingly if you want more people to answer to you.

Secondly, do you even see the big rainbow ish screen when your raspberry boot up ?

@AlexMurphy The sort order for the roms, it wasn't working but I have a feeling it has to do with the fact a lot of my roms are in subfolders.

Turns out the auto controller bindings made by EmulationStation where incorrect in RetroArch, I just had to go into the RetroArch Settings and rebind them. No Help Needed Here.

@ccb9951 you should delete the config, uninstall linapple and reinstall from binary. You dont have to mess with any settings in the config other than the controller (and whether you are using a mockingbird or a mouse. You can set color too If you want to change it but you can change that with f-keys. But you dont need to change any disk drive settings. That will work right out of the box.

@guigui said in Machines to rent:

So I wanna do some machines with Raspberry and Retropie to rent.

You didn't write retropie, you cannot use it to make money, it's not yours. It is a breach of the licence. It is illegal.
